So I'm going to have to fail a claim, because he's not returning my e-mails and messages, and seems like he doesn't accept returns... so we'll see what happens...

If I were you I would not leave feedback at all it and start a dispute asap.
That way you are processing the claim with Paypal aswell as holding his feedback to ransom. If he wants to feed his kids and get feedback then he is gonna have to sort this out.

this guy is a scammer... all of the sudden he got all this positive feedback from a guy with 0 feedback... and I just noticed he purchased the 5 disc version a month ago, and he's selling more with the same fake pic and misleading title...

I had someone do this to me before as well. The seller emailed everyone asking for feedback so Paypal releases the funds. I didn't, and still got the item. Feedback was left after. But it is a real Paypal/eBay policy for people who are new and don't have a lot of feedback.

You should be fine. Regardless of his return policy he sold you something and delivered something else.
It's still a pain in the ass but you'll get your money back.

I'm sorry to hear this. You know, I always give my trust to people, and most of the time it works out ok, but every now and then I get screwed. When you initially started this thread, I genuinely thought that while the guy was weird for asking that, he was still a good guy. This is a good learning for me in my future dealings with ebay.
