Vinita isn't a bad town from what I could see, but we are stuck in the Super 8. We thought about trying to drive on today, but came to our senses. The roads in between here and OK city are still crap. I did drive across the road to the truck stop for some chili. Wow, are my intestines burning. Gonna try again tomorrow when the sun shines.

Today is a bit better than yesterday, i'm in Yukon as well, did 10mph coming home yesterday and was fish tailing all over the place. The sleet helped, because my dad made us work today.

Holy crap, a branch just fell off.

It's actually pretty cool, there's a sidewalk between some buidings, all the trees next to the buildings are drooping so far down that there's no place to walk.

I figured out how to send myself pics from my cellphone. Here is that mold made of ice that a car left behind after leaving the parking lot here...

Storm's hitting the Atlantic region Wednesday afternoon--- and I fully expect to have the second day of the new semester off.

:banana Love me them snow days.

They did close the University today... so I had a snow day; very cool. Still pending for tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath, but they really haven't cleared much here and the roads are still pretty iffy.

Big test will be weather or not all the new stuff from today will freeze over night or not.

I'm loving it!

*gets on knees and prays for another snow day*:D

I'm hoping for a snow day tomorrow too. I can't see how it's not going to happen, but our super is rather strange at times.

Snowing like crazy right now. I should go to bed just in case but.....I don't wanna! :lol

Here in KY I think people have started eating each other because its the end of the world. Although I wish they would cancelled work so I wouldn't have to risk my life. Craziness.

I live a block from work and I work at my boss' home...so I never get snow days. :(

We got about an inch of snow yesterday, so that made the roads not so slick. Today the sun is out and everything's pretty much melted off the roads now.

I have a boatload of huge tree branches down from the crazy thick/heavy ice on them. None have come through the roof yet though, so there's that. Im gonna have to be in the yard like Paul Bunyan next week though!!!!
