I think the outfit looks fine, other than it's not right for SSC's, and maybe even too tight for anyone's currently offered body, so a different body or looser/thicker material is needed. The proto Triad body, if it ever comes to be, would work great for this.

They really should have taken some artistic liberty with the design, like they did with Asajj, to make it look right. The costume just doesn't look like it belongs in the SW universe.

And there is a weird bend to her left arm. :google

I don't know about the arm thing but what pix said is true, it just doesn't fit in with the whole SW look. I can't imagine having this displayed with my other SW stuff and thinking it looks good.

This is true. It's the fuzzy cape trim and those fuzzy balls! :D

But I guarantee you, with some water treatment to make the cape drape more realistically, and maybe a little bit of padding in her mid torso to eliminate the fan-boy sex appeal, I think she'll look a little more in place on the shelf.

While not at LOTR level, a large ammount of SW costumes, especially Trisha Biggar's beautiful PT work, featured intricate patterns and designs, simplicity wasn't in abundance in the Star Wars universe.

This is just a figure that really should never have been made. Its an odd choice and not one of the greatest costume designs. It looks great in the cartoon, but is hard to translate into 1/6, especially with a so-so base body.

This figure had me thinking today, I'm sure it's an expense for SSC, but for a fan voted piece like this, it'd be better if you voted on prototypes instead of reference material images, if you're going to include comic and cartoon based characters, film characters we know what to expect and there's no room for issue there.

I just noticed that weird left arm bend Pixletwin mentioned, WTH?!
The forearms are really WAY too long. I think Sideshow really needs to fix them.

Another possible solution would be some type of large undergarment covering the upper and lower torsos as well as the hip gaps to make the articulation underneath seem less obvious.

Of all of the possible Padmes (seriously... think about it :google) and we get this one. An easy pass for me. :monkey3:monkey3:monkey3

The Leia Boussh has the same issue, but the design of the costume helps to mask it. With this one all the flaws are painfully obvious.

I think it was some Padme fangirl board that found out about her being on the poll and had all it's members vote for her, atleast that's what I heard. :lol

Personally, I wouldve preferred Kir Kanos. Wouldve atleast gotten the armored figures rolling...

Pass here aswell. Joins the ranks with Yavin Luke and Bespin Han, unfortunately.

For any of you considering canceling.. maybe hang onto it till its closer to ship and you can find someone willing to buy it off you because they need the head.:D

I haven't canceled, but probably will. This should be pretty easy to pick up on the secondary market if needed.

I'll just need the head really. And a new body. That sculpt I think is dead on for Portman, maybe just a slight repaint.
