I would be hard pressed to drop $2000 on something (especially with a deposit) when the QC is questionable. That's just inexcusable. Given the past history with Iron Man movie products...well, you be the judge.

I trust companies like eFX with a $1,000 model, but Sideshow seems to be hit and miss with QC. I can't in good faith say that I would dive head first with absolute confidence.

So do you think this is why this thing hasnt sold out yet? Their was so much hype around this with people waiting for this to be released. yet its still up for pre-order....who actually orderd this...I cant be the only one

I agree with the others this piece will definitely end up with major paint issues like the bust....QC is hit and miss with SS

I haven't had to send anything back for a replacement yet from SS, but if this piece isn't perfect it's going back.

Well, I don't know what your tolerance levels are but everone has a different definition of perfection.

I can deal with Iron Child, Baby, Infant...whatever he goes by nowadays...having minor issues as long as he doesn't have the SS Iron Man curse where he's literally melting right out the box.

Only thing that's perfect is the word perfect......Oh...and the new GI Joe movie.

I will be SOOO disappointed if this thing shows up like the 1:1 bust......especially if it has that uneven/wavey surface texture again. Im actually dreading that problem the most. Did anyone that went to Comicon see this up close.....did it look like the 1:1 bust at all?
