I had the weekend to think this through and I'm not 100% sure I will buy this Iminime release. Only because I prefer the Bounty Hunter version. I'm pretty sure my emotions will get the best of me when some more pics are released. The Poncho is iconic Clint

Blondie puts the poncho on towards the final scene of the movie. For almost the entirety of the movie he wore the Bounty Hunter costume

Actually although he puts on the Poncho towards the main climax of the film, the railroad striped shirt and sheepskin vest and other attire were quite there from

whereas the Bounty Hunter was discarded

So technically the Bounty Hunter attire was there for around 1/3 of the film...

And when you think Blondie the scene at the cemetary is what is iconic... * cue the 'Ecstasy of Gold' *

I don't see why Iminime can't give us the second outfit as an option. . .I would probably buy two figures, one for each outfit.

Not a bad idea, but I would hate for the poncho outfit to suffer because iminime is stretched thin on the project developing and producing a second outfit, and my gut tells me it would.

You do bring up some good points about the Bounty Hunter outfit.

When I think Ecstasy of Gold I think of Tuco, not Blondie

Maybe later... they have too much on their plate. Getting this one done accurately should and is priority. If this set sells well I can easily see a clothing set option for full set owners in the future.

Yeah, I think the iconic outfit w/the vest and poncho are essential, and should be the focus of the release. But if time and resources allow. . .how difficult would it be to bash the alternate outfit? I'm assuming they wear the same unconventional shoes, which creates a problem in that department.

Good point. They should probably also scratch some of the extras they were thinking of for American Psycho for the same reason

I actually haven't been following that thread at all, so as far as I know that's the current plan there.

American Psycho is on hold for sometime... (thank god for my wallet) because the sculptor has some other sculpts on her schedule before she gets to the second sculpt.

If the other two are in Iminine's plans I really hope they will consider doing Tuco before Angel eyes.

After all the original title of the movie is Il Buono (The Good) Il Brutto (The Ugly) Il Cattivo (The Bad)

Army, what a perfect scene. wallach completely steals the show as tuco. one for the books, for sure. would love to get a tuco for the collection.

and i'm kind of grateful about the push on Bateman too, axe. dont want to miss out on that release.

GBU is the best of that trilogy to my mind, because it was the most polished of the three. It was better paced and Leone's filmmaking abilities had improved pretty noticeably across the three films. Of course, Wallach was also a great addition. Leone's second best film after "Once Upon A Time in the West."

"Once Upon a Time in the West" is my favorite Leone film too.

Damn, it's hard to believe that it's been two weeks since the initial reveal; it gets closer and closer every day. Also, I know that you guys have said there's no price available, but would you have a rough estimate? It's not going to be in the $800+ range, is it?

I think that Denny or Axe said that the expected pricetag will be $500-$600.

Well, the sculpt and hair is all done so all Trev really has to do is the hat basically, shouldn't be too long a wait for him to do that.

He can only get to do that bit of work once he can find time out of his busy schedule, he like any professional has to fulfill his priorities with Sideshow... and he has a LOT of Sideshow Projects lined up all the time.
