Re: [iminime] / Trevor Grove - *Secret Project* The Cowboy

hi guys.

I have decided to set up dx for 30 limited.

some quantity is set for some territory.

thanks

Denny

Awesome! Thanks, Denny!

How many have actually seend GBU?

I have, though, I think my favorite might be For a Few Dollars More. Namely because it has, for me, one of the most incredible scenes ever with The Man with No Name standing by, while the tension builds to its inevitable climax between Colonol Mortimer and El Indio. The way Morricone incorporates the locket is just brilliant.

Re: [iminime] / Trevor Grove - *Secret Project* The Cowboy

I would have loved For a Few Dollars More a lot more if simply the narrative didnt always become fragmented by Indio's constant flashbacks... it was the only reason that put it on my No. 2 list of the Trilogy. GBU is a winner for me simply because of Tuco!

Eli was the star of GBU and its not even close. He stoled the show and it would not have worked without him.

The fact that he never handled a gun and didn't know anything about them before shooting is mind-blowing to me.

It's one of those cases where you can't believe how someone is able to disappear into the role. How this guy...

...and this guy...

...are actually the same guy is absolutely insane.

Re: [iminime] / Trevor Grove - *Secret Project* The Cowboy

GBU is the best of that trilogy to my mind, because it was the most polished of the three. It was better paced and Leone's filmmaking abilities had improved pretty noticeably across the three films. Of course, Wallach was also a great addition. Leone's second best film after "Once Upon A Time in the West."

Sign of a great actor, Stanley Tucci and Gary Oldman come to mind too.

Daniel Day Lewis.:lecture (but I think that's a given :lol).

I know its subjective, but Once Upon a time in the West is in no way better than GBU.

This of course is only my opinion and there is a lot of bias in my opinion.

I saw Once Upon a time... and the entire movie I was just expecting something more to happen. I just kept thinking, "Whats all the rave about?"

The ending where we find out who Harmonica is was a bit of a let-down and I was expecting a lot more.

Now that you mention it. Has anyone in here seen Lincoln?

My Mom and Dad went to go watch it

My Dad is a huge movie critic and its very difficult for him to come out of a movie satisfied.

He said it was a well constructed movie, but just down-right boring!

Anyone agree or disagree. I will eventually watch it

It should been more appropriately entitled amendment 13 not 'Lincoln'. It was interesting but wish the movie had a grander scope. It felt like a small movie. Spielberg an writers probably thought they handled the assassination in an interesting way... But frankly the could've done it in far more harrowing and exciting fashion you know... Like actually showing it?! who makes a movie about Lincoln, called "Lincoln" and then glosses over the assassination in some ham-handed artsy fartsy way?! I know what they were trying to do. They were trying to say "the most important events in Abraham Lincoln's life were not his death" but it kinda is. It was the LAST event of his life. Idk

Did you warn him that Lincoln doesn't fight Vampires in this one!

I liked it, but I can see how it's not for everyone. It's actually very procedural, and more time is spent in the House of Representatives than on the battlefield. It's a very thorough film that mainly focuses on the passage of the 13th amendment and, subsequently, Lincoln's death. That's one of those films, though, man; Lewis is nowhere to be found. Obviously, I've never actually seen Lincoln, but, from what I've read, and photographs, etc. He IS Lincoln. It's one of those films that is at least worth giving a watch to make up your own mind about.

Love all three, but prefer 'For A Few Dollars More' the most.

Actually my Dad convinced my Mom to go with him by telling her it was the vampire version.

My Mom doesn't watch too many movies. So the entire time she was waiting for the vampires to come out :lol

She fell asleep during the movie

The perfect get out clause. "Honestly the Vampires appeared while you where sleeping I swear!"

Re: [iminime] / Trevor Grove - *Secret Project* The Cowboy

This scene simply became my favorite after learning that Eli didn't know anything about guns. He improvised the entire scene!!

That's so awesome!!! I wish I had those in my collection.

I had the weekend to think this through and I'm not 100% sure I will buy this Iminime release. Only because I prefer the Bounty Hunter version. I'm pretty sure my emotions will get the best of me when some more pics are released. The Poncho is iconic Clint Eastwood I get it, but for those that have not seen GBU you'd be surprised that

Blondie puts the poncho on towards the final scene of the movie. For almost the entirety of the movie he wore the Bounty Hunter costume

As far as GBU is concerned I believe the Bounty Hunter version VM made is amazing!

Its Tuco that needs a major facelift out of the three and VM has Tuco up on his poll. Its only a matter of time before he takes him on  or Iminine (with Trevor please )
