I guess it is "fair" in the sense that lots of members had the same problem. But in my opinion, it would be most fair if those who tried to check out first were able to check out first. I hope you can fix this problem for the future releases Denny. The system as it is now sounds arbitrary and random, and that is not good for the collectors in my opinion.

In fact, some people got success exactly 9:00 am, and then 9: 01. 9:02
I could see every minute someone got success.

So...the system is not a problem ^^ just too many people tried together and system got faster one to get through.

Your systems are fine Denny...just a case of more traffic then your servers could handle...the more people checked out, the smoother your checkout process became...happens with all major releases. Just have to have luck mixed with good timing to get thru the traffic during popular releases

Good to hear Denny, thank you for the suggestion. I did purchase the regular set today, didn't want to take a chance on being too slow next week.

Actually, Denny, the problem is Trevor. Back when his Old Ben Kenobi went up for pre-order in 2007, it crashed the Sideshow servers. What can you do? He has that effect on us...

Absolutely...but on your end is where it counts...Denny's system is fine...he loves you guys..but in no way I see him getting a new monster server by next week (took Nike 5 years to upgrade there's)

What's matters is your systems as home...go to speedtest.net and test your speed...if you got anything lower than 5mbps, you already lost.
My laptop hardwired pushes 25-30mbps and my iPad on wifi pushes 9mbps.

You shouldn't be ordering while on wifi...always be hard wired directly to modem...the few Denny mentioned that checked out at 9am probably where hard wired and pushing 20+Mbps...they flew past the traffic.

Just some tips that helped me while collecting others things where you go up against millions wanting the same thing on release day

Hope it helps most of you guys/gals next week...nothing garunteed, but increases chances

Tried that.... and failed.

I'm going to try and get a DX when they're open to the public...

I ordered a normal set in the meantime, but payment is due within 5 days or something like that.
