I wanted to make sure that he was okay with my mentioning him first, but it's actually Yogi who was wondering if I could do that for him, and, to be honest, I wouldn't be getting any Cowboy if not for him. I needed to sell my Hot Toys 89 figures to fund this project, and he really came through for me when I needed it; I was hoping I could repay the favor in some way.

Just from my observation, the part above the leather strap on top of the foot seems to be inflated. Not sure how much modding can be done but if it's shaved down underneath the material, the pant leg will fit better as well.

Personally I think this is Iminime's strongest reveal to date however I don't think it is the definitive Blondie. There are elements of it that are but as a whole package for me no. I think the hatted sculpt and the vest are better on this than anything we have seen before by quite some way. I think VM's Poncho is better than this one and Rainmans and I think Rainman's version tops this one in the following areas shirt, pants, boots, gun rig and maybe pistol haven't seen enough of Iminime's yet to judge properly. This is very very nice don't get me wrong and a snip at less than $500 (for regular version not a fan of the DX sculpt) but it fall's short of other examples in some areas. Just my opinion though.

Batfan, if I were you, I would definitely e-mail Denny. So far as I have heard authoritatively, Denny only limited the DX to one per person.

I would love to hear input you guys have on anything but the boots. If you don't like a particular piece of the outfit, please articulate why. I can't promise anything, but there MIGHT still be room for changes.

Regarding the boots, I honestly think that after the heel is shortened and some weathering applied, most will come around. They really are quality pieces of work.

Yeah, this was the reservation I had in the back of my mind with this the whole time. Sculpt, we knew was amazing. Paintjob, very very excellent. Supposedly the guns/holsters and shoes were being done by folks who knew their stuff, though I didn't know much about them. The rest of it? Even with Marf and axe having significant input, Iminime's clothing just isn't on the level with what Rainman has done in general. And I'm sure a huge part of that is cost. But yeah, if you want a definitive high end item--say, on the order of Rainman's Bill the Butcher, or even some Hot Toys pieces like their T1 T-800--I'm not sure Iminime can deliver yet, or possibly ever without jacking prices up to the point where their customer base would really dwindle.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still excited about this figure and am glad I'm getting him, but there was a pang of disappointment seeing the shirt, pants, and boots all somehow look a bit less than what they could have been (to my eyes). The cheap looking knockoff TT hands certainly don't help. But I think the paint/sculpts are great, and in general, this is very likely gonna be the only Blondie I ever need in my collection.

And coming back to the boots for a second, I think they're good, just not comparable to the masterful work of Rainman. And at some level, that comparison is unavoidable. Certainly, better than the usual clown shoes we have had with Iminime figures.

Yea, I hate to say I was expecting more than this. It appeared much better at first glance from my phone but once I got back to my desktop and was able to really study larger pics, there seems to be a few upsetting surprises.

The painted sculpts really look like 10-15 years too old. The boots are surprisingly disappointing; considering who was working on them, I expected a lot more.

The upside is the outfit looks great to me. I'm not a big authority on the details of the poncho but it looks great to my knowledge as does the shirt, vest & pants. The gun belt looks really great too. The revolver may be the best bit of all; great detail!

But the sculpt and boots are a big letdown. I have less than 8 hours to decide what to do about this.....

Also found these but there replicas not a massive fan of the subject matter so no idea how accurate they are

Replica or not, most cowboy boots taper in the front, the iminime boots just kind of abruptly end and that's what gives them the workboot/crocs appearance.

Hi freaks,

One of Iminime's strongest releases, with an incredible sculpt by Trevor. The reveal pics are very good and do show the good and some of the bad that hopefully can be adjusted. In my opinion, what is throwing off the likeness which we know is incredible with the paint job shown in the pics is the beard application. It is too dark and pronounced. It should be a little lighter. Maybe the skin tone a bit too. As for the boots, the one thing throwing it off for me, is the front, that should be flatter, but we cannot do anything about that. As for the poncho, I think I see that the opening needs to be wider, from the only pic I see, it looks very tight. Still, this is a major accomplishment, and I congratulate all involved.

Quite honestly Dane I don't think that shortening the heel is going to solve all problems. Don't get me wrong, the heel should be shorter just to respect the screen used prop but it won't make the boot itself any less thick. As YB just said it has a work boot Timberland type shape. Western style boots should be much thinner, longer and sleeker.

I'm surprised that these are all made already. I would've imagined that you guys would've caught this in it's early stages before the whole run was complete.

Maybe it's because I'm from Oklahoma... but those aren't men's boots. Those are definitely women's... simply due to the front of the boots and the color.

It almost looks like the boots were sculpted to go over a 1/6 scale foot, and were made too large to accommodate that, instead of simply being sculpted as a standalone piece that would replace a 1/6 scale foot.

Denny has already stated that he will replace standard orders with DX orders if you are able to order one.

Where did Denny said that Youbastards? I ordered the regular set but I want to change it to a DX if I got the chance tonight. Just want to confirm.

That is my worry as well with trimming. They may make the figure's toes point up in the air when the heels are down.

Whatever knockoff body they're using... has super shiny hands. I'm going to have to scrounge up hands that will work better. I know the face and hands on most people are different colors... but they sure aren't gritty/dirty on one and shiny for the other.

The hands are the first thing that have gotsta go.

100% agree. Not the slam dunk of a total package I was hoping for considering the amazing sculpt.

Well I'm from NY and I don't know a whole lot about cowboy boots but I was thinking the same thing... they do look feminine
