Comparing the sculpts of Medicom Luke and Sideshow Luke, it is plain obvious that sideshow's is much better. Medicom has a better body, but the sculpt looks nothing like Mark Hammil!

I love your elitist attitude, its really refreshing on the boards :D And a clarifier (now that you use Michaels reviews to support your argument) the Medi was actually a guest reviewer.

The thing is I don't hate Michael -infact if you've read my posts I say that I read his stuff. I also say that the only problem I have with him is the price value. i've said that repeatedly.

Also Get used to me since I'm not going anywhere. :D

THAT WASNT THE POINT OF MY POST.

Well Lets try this again - Wait...

I'll do it the Shai Hulud Way...

WELL LETS TRY THIS AGAIN

I don't see why I should stop talking on the Sideshow forums since I own several Premium format figures -Horror and Marvel. I've Purchased almost everything Hellboy they've released and overall have spent easily a few grand on THEIR ITEMS. HOWEVER there 12" is when I have my major problems.

In other words the amount of Money I give Sideshow as a consumer gives me the right to praise or criticize them to my liking.

So with the thousands I've spent on them would I NOT be considered a Sideshow Freak? :lol

From Dave Myatt, Forum administrator at rebelscum:

''The Medicom kids wanted their own site, and now that's what they have. Their continual moaning about it is childish and unproductive. let's not bring it back into other threads. No one likes it.''

I think he sum it up pretty good.

you guys are totally ignoring the other facts about the figure!! you don't even bother looking at the outfitt!! It's all about the headsculpt headsculpt!!!! Well I geuss it's cool to be so critical of a plastic piece of art. I mean we're all idiots forking $50-$150 for one right? :lol

So when you meet a dude in person do you look at his face or his clothes? Hmmm. Humans relate to faces. It's even how you knew that your mother was in fact your mother. From the time you were an infant her image was stored in your memory. It is the same thing watching a movie or meeting someone for the first time. If you don't believe this to be true then you must live your life constantly looking down. To down play it and act like it doesn't matter is just plain dumb.

please, I'm not trying to argue with anyone here.. I know alot of medicom fans came off the wrong foot with some of the freaks members, I'm not trying to do that. I don't relate to humans by thier clothes but these are Molded plastic... I can't relate that to real human beings.

I also believe the sculpt is about 80% if everything is almost equal. And I'd say on Luke the tailoring is about the same between the SSC and Medicom. And the belt on Medi Luke is such a pain that it loses a lot points for that.

That's fine, everyone (just about) is welcome here. But if you didn't have such an elitist attitude it you'd probably be more fun. These are just figures, statues, etc... not anyting worth getting huffy over.

Soon you will understand why people dont use medicoms to pose in front of photoshop. It just doesnt work because they dont look like the characters on film. So keep throwing away that $150 and enjoy! :lol :lol :lol
I can see you and Evilface having alot of fun in bed together! I can play matchmaker if you'd like. PM me and let me know.

Seriously,I think the Medicom Fan-boys,who all came to this forum at the same time should realise this is a Sideshow message boards. In fact,a Sideshow freaks board. So while we enjoy, talking about other figures and company, people here live and breathe Sideshow.....So I think its rather stupid to come here and try to prove that this figure or that figure is better than Sideshow's.Youre on the wrong board for that.

We understand this is a Sideshow board Shai, but just because we're not talking about Sideshow 24/7 it makes it ok for some people to get personal?

I consider myself more of a Medicom ball licker than a nut swinger:monkey5.

Seriously I think both companies produce quality merchandise, I really like the Medi Marvel and SW figures, but I really like the SSC Marvel PF's and most of their 12" SW line.

Two great companies producing quality figures for my two favourite lines:chew.

I don't mind paying Medi's prices cause I know I'm getting a top quality figure, same with the PF's.

I wouldn't say Medicom can do no wrong and I don't think Nash and the others are saying that Evilface.

I certainly wouldn't buy Endor Rebel Troopers if Medi released them with their usual standards and sold them for five bucks a piece. Same with Sideshow. I wouldn't buy the Medicom Luke figure either cos I don't like that, it's about the figures and individual collectors will feel differently about individual products.

I'm a Medicom Ball Licker and proud of it, I love Medi but I don't think they can do no wrong and always give my honest opinion. If they put something out I don't like, I'll say it.

It's just with the exception of Jedi Luke that hasn't happened yet, although I also wasn't keen on the comic book version of Wolverine they did, because I thought some of the proportions were wrong. The rest of their Marvel figures were A class though.
