BvS Batman has yet to have any real justice done to him.

I've been wanting and waiting for a Hot Toys 1/4 for a very long time, I think either a 1/3 or 1/4 would give him the most presence.

At the moment I'm not too sure Inart will do that much better justice. Superman, unless they change it, doesn't have the presence of Cavill just yet, the chest size and trapeze taper isn't right, and as much as I think Pattinson's Batman looks incredible, he looks too thin also.

But apart from the chest and likeness issue, I think he looks really good here and the bicep/shoulder muscle look magnificent. At least in that light.

A little harsh on Hot Toys. Their figure is about 8 years old now and definitely in need of an upgrade but it's still been a ton of fun to own that figure.

The trinity in 1/4 scale has always been a dream but for whatever reason HT only seem to do Nolan stuff in that scale.

Don't get me wrong, I owned three versions of theirs - but I was always frustrated with the physique being incredibly off, you could kind of pull of the chest if you arched the back a lot and pulled the shoulders back, but between that and the sticky suit issues it wasn't the best it could be.

Now looking back on it with enough passage of time the improvements that can be made makes BvS Batman, regardless of who makes it, Hot Toys, JND, Inart, my most keen character to see done with modern standards.

Agreed, no idea why Hot Toys didn't make him in 1/4 - the 1/6 was one of the most sought after pieces back in the day. 2015 and 2016 Hot Toy collecting for me was the golden age.

Wild to think how far its come. I think for me, the body proportions and how a human holds themselves translated into 1/6, 1/3 and 1/4 are the best leaps in collecting for me. There's no point having a likeness if it still looks like it's a toy, probably why I like JND so much... oh and also clothing that doesn't look like it's actual clothing, probably why I hate wires so much. LET MATERIAL DRAPE G'DAMMIT!

Absolutely! Would be enthused to see it in the 1/4 format! But of course, their 1/4 line doesn't seem as popular as 1/6, so understandable it doesn't get as many releases. (I think it's only up to 023 !)

Definitely!! The Trinity in 1/4 would be a dream!! If they applied the level of care of their recent efforts in 1/6 to 1/4, it would be insane!

Does anyone know anything, or has anything been officially said, concerning durability issues?

If they are using the same plasticky stuff as HT's, which can start tearing in less than 1 year, investing so much cash on this will be useless... again.

And the same applies to BvS Batman.

Thx
