I wish y’all were on Facebook. On Facebook I’m treated like the devil and mocked for wanting more accuracy and I’m tame in comparison to you guys lol (while I don’t always agree, I appreciate how critical you guys are/can be to an extent).

If I can personally be happy (yes, I settled) with Hot Toys Mace Windu, I can certainly be happy with INART Superman, despite its own inaccuracies.

Most of the ppl in FB groups are delusional. Just ignore them. Get Jinxed.

Lots of people in Facebook groups are new, casual collectors.
They are mostly happy with the figures out of the box.
Some even consider customizing them make them lose value.
I stopped arguing there.
Freaks forum members know their stuff, and are way more helpful than any Facebook groups.

They aren't exaclty wrong here. Not all customized figures instantly go up in value. I've found that stock figures have often sold for more than customized ones even if certain customizations like body and material upgrades make the figure better/more accurate/last longer. It's just a different mindset. For instance, my brother will appreciate the art and talent behind a custom, but always prefers fully licensed, stock figures.

I wish Superman was more screen accurate, but I’m not as critical to the point where I’d cancel/sell it because of its respective downsides. As is, it’s still a next level figure, imo, more so than many other stock figures out there. And to this day, it’s the definitive BvS Superman 1/6 representation.

Small changes. Not sure exactly what was changed tbh, but I can see some differences.

Yeah it depends on so many things. The buyer, the quality of the work, how accurate or how rare it is. There will be more people wanting stock than "messed" with because they are either blind to the value/accuracy or the work is poor or simply don't like the idea. Plus the more expensive something is generally the less customers you have access to.

My BvS and JL Wonder Wonder Woman Hot Toys both had the 1984 body and head. The job wasn't difficult and there were plenty of people doing the mods. The cost I spent I didn't recuperate and imo the figures were better in every way but Iost a little bit of money on them.

For my MoS Superman I got much more than I spent on it as the work was more intricate and there aren't many people doing them.

There’s actually a lot of really minor tweaks essentially all in the outline of the figure.
The arms are slimmer all the way from triceps to wrists, they hang lower now- either because they’re slimmer or have actually been extended, shoulders may have been slightly widened (can’t tell,) the knees have been taken in to highlight more quad definition- maybe very subtle quad thickening too, the waist and hips have also been reshaped so there are no joint dips.

It’s all really minor stuff that creates a more natural appearance but nothing the average person will even register.

At the typical viewing distance, I doubt it makes any notable difference.

You’re not. It’s just great for a mass-produced figure. It’s great despite the inaccuracies it has (things that I harped on myself as well and wish were incorporated but oh well). Most on here fixate on the inaccuracies to the point where they write it off and that’s their own prerogative. The price-to-value this has is great too (2 headsculpts + 2 capes).

Yeah, whatever was done was subtle enough to barely register. I see the head sits a little higher, and the torso looks a really small bit wider.
