I really find it hard to believe that Inart would listen to a YouTuber, regardless of how many subs he has. It's such a terrible idea, I mean is putting a whole magnet plate on the base too expensive or something? Something to do with shipping weight?

In suppose that sliding mechanism must be more expensive in production and assembley. Makes it even more dumb.

Same here. I wasn't going to buy it but when I saw I had 1 day left before my order automatically cancels, I caved and paid the balance. I got my tracking # from Gundamit. Now just waiting to see how long it takes to show up.
