I’m not sure what figures you collect, but calling this TRASH is a big stretch. Push the head down, none of mine has such gap.

P.S. cape fabric is also good, light weight and flows nicely.

Been collecting since hot toys batman begins mms 67 so I’d say I’ve been here from the start.
The figure is trash.

I just got my superman in and I gotta say I’m disappointed.
All the people saying “it looks better in hand” it doesn’t. The headsculpt and paintwork on it are shockingly underwhelming, that neck seam is diabolical!
It’s awful

Okay maybe an initial overreaction but I still stand by it being ass.
The suits good. Headsculpt sucks,
paintwork on the headsculpt is seriously lacking it’s we’ll below par. It looks like a bad custom job.
The body is too small for Henry cavill as superman.
When you look at the new bane and Deadpool alongside this figure it look like this was released 10years before.
It’s just bad

It’s got some improvements. It perhaps a touch dark, and the extra shading is a little heavy. But o dig the dark blue. Has that film graded richness.

cheers Rory but I think some people here don’t like criticism of a figure that’s a disappointing release.
For me anyway. It’s rare I open up something and I’m so dissatisfied with it

I’m all for criticism but despite the subjective nature of the hobby, there comes a point where it’s just lunacy lol.

Hyperbole or not, I had lost all enthusiasm for this and creasy's reaction tipped me over the edge. Cancelled. I'm at a point where I really need to love a figure to go ahead with a purchase. If there's a chance I won't, then I'm dropping it. In some cases I can love a figure in spite of other people's criticisms - I think DX32 Joker would be one such figure - but with this one, for whatever reason, every negative comment brought me down.

Some would still get it and sell it on if they still don't like it in hand, however, me being a world class procrastinator when it comes to selling stuff, it'd just be something else sitting here taking up space for I don't know how long.

I'll see what Hot Toys comes up with. If they **** up again I guess I'll simply have to go without a modern Superman in my collection. I certainly won't be buying a Corenswet Supes with that godawful outfit.

did I? That’s a valid & deserving point if I did praise the the hot toys 1/4 joker.
I can’t defend that at all-that’s indefensible. But the figures have moved on now, leaps and bounds.
this figure though is a step back in time. It’s like a figure from 5yrs ago.
Iv only unpackaged it today and there’s so many things wrong with it. The obvious skinny elbow joints that snag at the costume are brutal. Why wouldn’t they pad that out?
It just seems rushed and half assed

I settle with most of my Hot Toys figures. INART gets the job done for me and then some. However, to each one’s own and each and everyone’s mileage may vary, of course.

If you don't have something in hand you can’t/shouldn’t have an opinion on a figure lmao. How tf else can anyone buy something without having an opinion prior based on solicitation photos.

If he really doesn't like it then its too bad because its money wasted, but can be regained selling to someone else easily. Unfortunately its expressed in a way that feels like ragebait to get into arguements with others here

This was taken with my recently purchased iPhone 16 pro.

I’m impressed with the quality of the camera. Picked up some of the finer details the naked eye (well, my 40+ year old eyes at the very least ) can’t pick up.

I think that kind of shows the measure of you.
But it’s great that you like that.
Im just being honest about a figure that’s subpar here and a lot of people are getting on their high horse.
It’s like they don’t like criticism……
