Yeah despite my issues with them (mostly with the proportions being a bit wonky), my Inart figures are still far superior to the HT versions. But that said, I still think HT could knock it out of the park with a new Reeve Superman, judging by how great these Flash figures are looking. At least if they put the same great people on it.

Complaining about Inart not putting out product fast enough isn’t really an issue for me. I’ll gladly pace my wallet spending vs deciding to PO a few bangers HT puts out every week.

I want a Reeve Supes but not enough to pay $1000, I don’t need a Clark. Offer a single release for Supes or I’ll get the HT 2.0 for cheaper.

One small thing is about the accessories, the newspaper would stay in the box cus I wouldn’t have Clark crunch it up by holding it, and the kryptonite necklace won’t match the Supes facial expression if we don’t get a pained sculpt look.

I really do think Inarts paint apps are much better enabling them to make it look like a real person especially the pupils in the eyes and skin texture - Paul Atriedes, Joaquin, Henry Cavill are superb.

I’ll get sh*t for this but if I compare them to HT newest Ledger Joker, first of all, it’s amazing and one of HT’s best ever, but I’ve seen it in-person and the paint could still look more realistic imo.

I’ve got my HT Reeve Supes for now. He holds up well. Sharp figure. I love all of my IA (Gandalf, Aragorn, The PattMan) and would LOVE the Reeves 2-pack.

Likeness is such a huge factor for Christopher Reeve Superman figure. If it doesn’t look at least 90% him, I’ll have to pass it. Also they must include the smiling expression. That’s the biggest part of him in the movie. The dude smiled a lot!

I just guessed a thousand based on the Joker 4 pack being 2 thousand.

To me it makes sense since Reeves is their most iconic character in Live action and had the best Superman movies. Superman 1 and 2 are muy bueno.

Imagine 45 years and still the best Superman films ever made. His portrayal is so iconic.

Just to be clear, but that’s in HKD right? Cause BvS Supes was $399 USD and yeah I think the Joker 4-pack was like $1.5k USD, and not $2k like MarkKing is making it out to be.

Ok so half of 1750 is like 875? I will stick with it costing 1k as a guess, will be glad if Supes cost 800 or less. Judging inflation and Legolas, I am thinking it's 1k for a 2pack...if it makes you feel better...975 USD is my guess.

I want it, willing to pay that price for a good Reeve. I loved my HT original Reeve, but it does need an upgrade compared to newer figs.

I fully expect Hot Toys to do a 2.0 but need the official word. I am someone who does NOT like rooted hair, but with reeves having short hair that might not be much to style...so might bite.

I also think eventually Hot Toys inflation will kick in and I expect almost all their figs to be 300 plus at some point.
