I know for sure I’ll have Hermione side-eyeing the boys who will be messing around while she’s just trying to read.
Thanks for updating, I didn't want to spam all these threads with my updates since it didn't feel right and it's a lot of information.Figured this little tid bit from the latest live stream that @yasuo broke down for us in the main InArt thread should be shared here as well just in case some folks don't really visit that other thread:
- Hermonie's knee joints have been adjusted, they might switch to silicone lower body instead. Headsculpt is also under adjustment
I'm persnally not a big fan of silicone bodies on 1/6 figures. Anytime I've thought about using a Phicen/TBLeague body, I've typically switched it out for a plastic one. But, I don't mind it when a character truly calls for it like Wonder Woman, or some portions of the body like the legs here on Hermione or the muscular arms like current HT Wolverine and Thor figures. But, I'm hoping that the sculpted knees also get improved even though I don't mind them as they are now.
Anyway, went ahead and placed my order right after Ron on Gundamit. No point in lollygagging when I know I'm in for the trio anyway.
For sure! You’ve done the hard part already and broke it all down for us so you shouldn’t also have to go to all the threads to distribute the info a second time. I think what you did was great and allowed a lot of ppl to comment on it all. Thanks for updating, I didn't want to spam all these threads with my updates since it didn't feel right and it's a lot of information.
Yea part of me thought about that for a second meaning maybe I should’ve waited for the teen versions. But, I also want to support the line so that they hopefully keep the incentive to follow through and make the teen versions. These child versions look really good plus the older versions will look different enough, so it doesn’t feel like double dipping like it would for other characters.I will probably wait for the teenager versions of them because I think that's when they started being more like their characters than just playing a role. Probably because they got more familiar with their characters.
I'm mixed on this. It's great that the knees won't look that way. However, for me that's not where my eyes are going to be drawn to. It will be the headsculpt, diorama, and tailoring.Figured this little tid bit from the latest live stream that @yasuo broke down for us in the main InArt thread should be shared here as well just in case some folks don't really visit that other thread:

Agreed. Everyone wants seamless articulated legs until they start to crack/break down and then those same folks will be saying "why didn't InArt just make them out of plastic?" Can't win for losing but I guess at that point they will have already gotten their money so not their problem anymore. The main thing with silicone I've learned is maintenance and climate control.I'm mixed on this. It's great that the knees won't look that way. I'm terrified how quickly these legs will split with how skinny they will be. I would rather have both options as the best case scenario.
I know this was by far the biggest topic for this figure. If I had to choose one or the other, it's going to be the jointed.Agreed. Wow, that really shows a significant improvement in likeness.View attachment 714492
Awesome optimizations. I think the updated sculpt looks much better. Might just be me, but I also think they lightened the hair color too, which is good.
If only the general fanbase supported those who care about minute improvements as well and “smaller” yet blatant inaccuracies.
Skirt is the same.I think the legs are still not seamless, looks like they made the skirt longer to cover it up and possibly tweaked the position of the knee joint.
Just checked yeah, i think its seamless silicone. I just wish they would mention about it.Skirt is the same.
