Please keep me posted man.
My 4 pack arrived just before I went on holiday, which was perfect timing.
Really didn’t want something that expensive left behind the bins in the rain for two weeks.
It appears GunDamit did just make an error in declaring the correct weight and corrected it after I gave them a nudge.
So far, I’ve only unboxed the Murray show figure. Gave the other dio base a looking over and don’t really care for the forced perspective back section at all. The whole thing looks a bit plasticy so isn’t cutting it. I’ve ordered that more scale accurate set of steps anyway. Then my dilemma will be whether to display red suit Joker dancing on the steps or seated in the Murray studio… Damit, I kinda want both.
Anyways, I removed the light rig section on the Murray studio duo so I could just fit the curtain rail on top since I don’t have the required 47cm height in the spot I’ve designated for Joker.
Looks pretty clean but I sheered off a fair bit of black paint on the light rig poles when I removed the curtain holding fittings that I’ll need to fix at some point.
If I’d used some common sense I could have prevented it but I was feeling careless.
I wanted a bit of curtain showing- like on the HT base- and I’ve pinched the bottom with a small clamp to hold the pleats in place. When just left to drape, it looks pretty messy.
Here’s the simple pose for now.
Used double sided tape to flatten down the lapels.
