I took my time. Evaluated both this and Hot Toys version and finally decided to order this. Thanks Kit for being awesome and helpful!
I'm more bothered by the cowl inaccuracies for an "art" figure. I hope the figure turns out good but I'm passing on Bruce Wayne and it's weird that all the pics are taken overhead or far away.
What was this taken on, the James Webb?
I'm talking about the cowl it's supposed to cover the nose fully.
Maybe InArt's is the Bizzaro versionI'm talking about the cowl it's supposed to cover the nose fully.
There’s so many side profile shots in the film where you can just see his nose. In fact you even can in that comparison you posted.
All depends on the angles (for instance the ones you posted are different) so I really would not be worried about
I think it still should be slightly covered more than it already is. TheJND statue that people say is the most accurate also hides the nose more. There’s so many side profile shots in the film where you can just see his nose. In fact you even can in that comparison you posted.

It still matters regardless of a handful of collectors deciding to buy custom capes from the moment the figure was announced.
To be a Hot Toys killer (obviously they’ll never put HT out of business- but a killer in the sense that they will render the same characters produced by HT undesirable or obsolete,) they need to surpass all of HT’s worst practices.
The use of pleather is a prime example and switching to a less perishable material would denote a notable advancement in quality and save people who live in particular climates from the necessity of spending even more money just to ensure their premium figures don’t fall apart.
Tldr; irrespective of one’s intent to replace the stock cape, InArt should strive for the most accurate and durable materials to truly achieve the quality they’re marketing.
Shorter haired characters should stay sculpted though if InArt can pull it off I'm open to it. I hope to see how they do their version of TDK Batman and Bruce Wayne imagine rooted hair BW bale sculpt.
I also agree his nose is too small, it makes it look like the prime 1 version statue. I wish they can take feedback, since most people will display their batman with the cowl on.I think it still should be slightly covered more than it already is. Yeah it does look like they used the nose length on the cowl the same as the prime 1 statue I think it's just a smidge too exaggerated and is closer to that of the JND statue in the movie. Also the Infinity Studio Bust leaves the nose hanging out.I also agree his nose is too small, it makes it look like the prime 1 version statue. Good analysis, its not the biggest deal for me honestly, it still gives it a really good impression of the cowl. What does bother me is how the inart textures are so prominent, compared to other statues/hottoys. I think it would have been better to have it done sculpted so we can see the nose stitches more.Yeah it does look like they used the nose length on the cowl the same as the prime 1 statue I think it's just a smidge too exaggerated and is closer to that of the JND statue in the movie. Yeah I think that Prime 1 has the overall best looking texture for the cowl part of me thinks that just due to the complexity of the new cowl that a lot of different studios aren't able to nail it spot on. I guess it bothers me more than the cape because a cape can be replaced with customs and its usually not facing you unless you display your figures facing the wall. The cowl is what I usually first notice when a new suit is shown for the movies.Good analysis, its not the biggest deal for me honestly, it still gives it a really good impression of the cowl. Yeah I really don't want to have to spend for a custom cowl the company's should be able to produce it themselves especially if we're to believe they're superior to hot toys it can't just be slightly better in some aspects they should go all out on it. All the behind the scenes pictures have the cowl looking almost rubbery like you mention I think the texture can be reduced a bit and reshape the nose a little and Inart will be closer.View attachment 596982

I think the cape length is fine, but yeah you're right one of the more important factors is the cowl. I wouldn't want to spend for another custom just for a better texture.. Look at hot toys for example, that is an amazing cowl design except the ears. It looks just like prime one's statue from the texture. The film cowl almost looks rubbery, very similar to the reflection of his cape. When the light hits the cowl, you can almost see no visible texture since its so subtle.
Inart is aware of the issue and provided an updated look at the figure. Now we’re all gonna have to buy custom schnozzes to fix our $1k action figures along with our genuine rawhide leather capes.
Totally agree... if it's a Hot Toys figure.
