So where were you when they released Gandalf and Pennywise?
Their Batman is final/ready. They just have a different marketing strategy for both announcements and releases. Which is also in line with how Queen Studios (their parent company) do it where I’ve noticed that hardly any people take issue with it. Perhaps the 1/6 community is more entitled and whiny?
For the record, I’m not arguing that they have the best way, just offering an observation as to how they do it. And I’m also not saying you’re wrong. Just discussing.
So you and others would prefer if they offer a full album like Hot Toys? Bloggers by INART themselves or by third party photographers ala Hot Toys?
For wanting to discuss, you sure have some poor choice of words.
My point is, you want to show something is ready, then show the whole thing. It's ready for release by this time? Then do it as scheduled. If they're not ready, just say so. For what it is, it's poor communication on their end is what I'm seeing. You say John is just PR but I'm sure what he communicates to the collectors need to be cleared by the company itself. I'm sure he can't just willy nilly say anything if they're not in the same page.
Gandalf and Pennywise had official studio photos for their release and not a factory lineup of pieces. None for the Batman yet. If we're basing it on Inart's timeline of photos and if they are accurate, it was somewhat close to 3 months from the last factory lineup photos to the final studio photo.
For me, if they have to delay it then just say so. I couldn't care less on a massive photodump from Inart or any bloggers/reviewers on release day.
