Also was watching one review of the figure on YT and paused the video on some of the hands. Inart got it right but is missing the small detail of the mini tazer on the fingers. HT did get that right on their figure but it isn't detailed just a bit of silver line tipped at the fingers. It's shame InArt didn't add that but not a huge deal just something to note.

Be aware, later in the thread it was mentioned I need to most likely pay another $40 for shipping. I was gonna message Sanctum on insta but it looks like the owner is in the hospital so I'll wait a little bit before adding to their load.
Appreciate the heads up but still a very good price even after the shipping!

Does anyone have proper references for how his cape was actually setup in the movie? From some of the shots I'm finding, it comes across like it was actually double layered. With there being a shorter section or cape layered over a longer one that draped down to his ankle in the middle. This would be what's causing the cape to look tapered in some of these shots since you see the shorter cape/section peaking out from the sides, while the longer middle section hangs down low to his ankle. I thought maybe it was just a single fabric thrown over his shoulder a certain way but I'm trying to picture how they would then achieve such a hard edged cut for the shorter section.

It’s just not a uniform length, the sides are shorter.
Right but then how are they achieving the hard edged bottom of the shorter section when it all funnels into his shoulder? If just the sides are shorter with the length slowly getting longer towards the middle, wouldn't the capes length difference be more seamless when on his back? Here it's a clear edge to edge difference between the two sections.

Not a pro in fabric making so I'm confused on what kind of pattern his cape would have to be in order to get this effect. It would be the main thing that all these companies are missing when doing his cape, even on the statues I've seen.

Capes are usually made with a constant radius from the neck, this isn’t. This seems more like an ellipse. Either the sides are shorter or the back is longer.
Hard edge? It’s just folded out of the way emphasizing the difference in length.

Capes can be any amount of a circle, Battinson looks like most of a full circle, where when the ‘sides’ are draped down in front of him instead of folded over his shoulder the bottom of the cape is uniform length.

Edit:
In which case, the radius of the cape could be uniform, but with the neck off centre, like this drawing I just did.

Lucky timing. Everything is getting snatched up!
Yeah, I'm glad I took the chance on it yesterday. I almost procrastinated and sat on it to think more. That usually gets me in trouble and I miss out. I did that with ordering the premium Bruce Wayne with Kit. The day I finally decided to order it with Kit, the listing was pulled. Luckily it was still up with Spec at that time.

I think the truth about the head size lives somewhere in the middle: HT is too big, InArt is too small. All I know is that as soon as I'd seen the side-by-side comparisons, I couldn't look at my HT Battinson without noticing how out of scale the head is. Maybe I'll feel similarly about InArt in the other direction once I have it, but it was definitely a "no going back" moment for me.

I'm going to guess that there will be cancelations by the time this actually ships... so maybe a small window of opportunity to get this through a number of sellers.

The video above was a great review of the pros and cons.

Head size bothers me on figures. Truthfully, I think I can tolerate a slightly larger head than I can a slightly smaller one. Pinhead figures just look wrong on the shelf. It may take time for people to actually see it. "New and shiny" haze must dissipate first.

I foolishly canceled my bat signal. But my home set up is changing and I should be able to display it easy. I especially want it in case someone makes a Jim Gordon. Still sad no one has, as he was close to my favorite part of that movie.
