That's great news Scout, thanks for following this up broExactly!
I'm interested in the sculpt as well, It's too good to pass up honestly. But seeing his post did make me skeptical. That size was already on point.
People got sold on what he had shown. I hope he's careful and considerate with any changes or tinkering. I don't think it's needed. Also, I hope he keeps everyone in the loop before he's committed to those changes and everything is shipped out.
Update: He's assured me he's tested it carefully, and the size difference is hardly noticeable. Fingers crossed for the best.
I'll just wait and cross my fingers for an Inart Knightmare Batman. That's great news Scout, thanks for following this up bro
He got back to me as well this morning and assured the same. I just hope he doesn't change anything on that sculpt/expression. It's perfect as is.
Also, over the past weekend Topo contacted me and asked if I could search anything on the screen used scarf, hand wraps and those rifle/binoculars straps too. He will be including all of those in his set now. Cool!
And sorry for posting this here but he just posted this earlier today.

I think that button at the upper chest looks too big.
What could be shown in the review that would sway you one way or the other that you haven’t already seen in blacks’s photos ?Slowly... but I definitely want to see Jedha and Justin's review first.
They must have a lot to say, taking a very long time.

I don't get it. If a figure can be futzed to look a certain way in a photo, then that's what the figure can look like. These figures always come down to the futzing. If a video review or photos come out and the figure is poorly futzed that's not useful. You should always look for the photos that make a figure look it's best because that's how it can look if you futz it properly. That's what you should be looking for, what is the ceiling of this figure, because when its properly futzed thats what you can expect. Therefore, if you see great photos of a figure, that's what it will look like on your shelf, because you will futz its properly. It's not useful to see a figure not futzed, because they can all look bad in that case.View attachment 698536

Noob photography (Mine) vs a normal guy who knows how to take a photo.
A figure can’t be judged based on photos alone
There's no such thing as a finished artwork.
George Lucas would certainly agree lol...Amen!
Agree on the futzing part. But from my experience, the photos and in-hand feeling about a figure always differs. 4k or 8k cameras are able to capture details that are not visible in naked eye. Also some angles make the figure look bulkier or thinner.I don't get it. If a figure can be futzed to look a certain way in a photo, then that's what the figure can look like. Agreed it's not useful to look at bad photos of any figure. If you are comparing two figures, you find the BEST futzed photos of both- and thats the fair and useful comparison. There are no camera tricks happening here, there aren't entire sections of the figure hidden in shadow, this is just what it can look like.
I don't think that's how FOMO works. If you're slow (like me) it's more like ROMO (Realizing One Missed Out).Slowly... FOMO is setting in...

Professional photography isn't very indicative of how things look to the naked eye. Things like lighting, focal length, etc. have a huge impact on how something looks. Not that video can't also be manipulated to look as good as possible, but seeing something in motion generally gives you a better idea of what it'll look like in-hand versus a carefully curated, professionally lit shot.I don't get it. Lighting has a huge impact on how something looks in real life too, its not just photography. If something is filmed with a 50mm lens that matches closest to the human eye. So again, if you see a photo or video of a figure not futzed well, that is not useful. What is useful is the best looking photo you can find of a figure without it being entirely covered in shadow. If you have your own figures you should already know this from personal experience. Proper futzing always makes insane amounts of difference.Professional photography isn't very indicative of how things look to the naked eye.
