Yeah, I do not think this warrants a rooted hair version for me, but just watch them doing the rooted version with all the goodies imaginable included in it.

Hopefully, they understand batman is not Joker.

I'm Batman

Whatever options they provide, I'm sure it will be just as frustrating and bewildering as the ones we got for Joker. Lol

I'll be happy with just sculpted hair BW sculpt, maybe even similar accessories as HT but maybe add stuff like empty cowl to go with the unmasked sculpt and bandaged gloveless hands for holding the cowl.

That would be cool extras over what HT has.

And I agree, sculpted hair with this one is fine with me too

Interested in seeing the rooted version but yeah I don't think there's really a need to go for rooted on this. It's freaking Batman.
I agree, I'm interested in how the rooted sculpt looks but it would have to be spectacular for me to spend as much as the Heath Ledger Joker on it, the sculpted hair looks really good so far & it will probably capture the ideal look of Batinson better than I can style the hair - the messy hair suits & elevates Heath's Joker, but I will have to wait & see if its the same here.
Unless if they do some double two pack with a Bruce Wayne outfit.
Yes, this would be the perfect 2 pack.
I completely agree - this is the 2 pack that will really make me tempted to buy it - I personally lean towards Bruce in his funeral outfit + Batman, rather than the drifter look
However not a fan of hiding the rooted hair version behind a $1000 2 pack.
Lets hope that doesn't become a feature of this line.
Looks like in the world of 1/6 scale, Queen is King.
Indeed, you can feel Hot Toys' collectively shitting themselves (at least a little bit) now that they finally have real competition which may match or even actually be better than them. Its nice to see the positive effect of heathy competition

I'm coining the phrase Wayne Wars right now 🤣🤣🤣
Because Bat Battle is too on the nose? :lol
:ROFLMAO: The Pattinson Battalion? The Dark-Knight Fight? The 1/6 Blitz?
Nah yours are better.........

Rooted is the future. Buy for tomorrow.
Root or bust
Honest opinion do we think this is the direction the hobby is going? Or do we think this will be reserved for certain characters who it will be work a bit better for like Heath's Joker? Do we think Pattinson's Batman is one such character? I know he has a lot of (no doubt fabulous) hair in the movie - but would a rooted sculpt necessarily capture it better than sculpt?
Honestly just want to know your opinions.

Certain characters. Perhaps one day short-haired slicked-back heads will have what appears to be fine hair but it might be simply some material that mimics it.

You're probably right. Though, I'm still partial to sculpted over rooted. Only reason I went with rooted for Joker is b/c I've wanted one of those kewl customs with rooted hair for a very long time. It really all comes down to price in the end though. As much as I loved Battison's portrayal, I'm not looking to spend $1000 on him too. Of course, I say that now, and next thing you know I'm $2k deep for some dollies :lol

Love this company . It means we have more figures to choose from and not rely on one company for high end stuff

I am pretty sure QS set themselves apart from competition by offering rooted hair.
Its not something HT normally does, especially with their Joker figures of past.

By doing rooted hair, and doing it well, it gives QS that edge and take some market share.
Its their differentiator.

All a business play. Offer something not normally done outside of customs.
