When I bought the collar it was a few days to receive. When I bought my DX19 custom cowl a while back it took 15-18 months if I remember right
Did you buy that cowl through direct dm or through his website? Thinking about ordering through his site since it offers PayPal protection

I have a second standard coming on Monday and I still haven't decided if I am going to keep it.

Yes, he provided me with a tracking number that just shows it was accepted. I’m definitely patient and am okay with CNY delaying things, the problem I do have is no response for weeks. I purchased end of December via PayPal Invoice (G&S). But would love to just get an understanding of timeline that he normally sees.

I would have gladly paid more to have it air shipped if he did ship sea.

He’s reputation is fine, I don’t believe he’s screwing anyone. But communication is key if you’re running a business.
FWIW, Will air shipped my InArt Wukong with Yanwen back in October, but that was when he had plenty in-stock. It took about 10 days to arrive and while it’s a big box, it didn’t need to be shipped by sea.

Probably not what you want to hear and I definitely don’t excuse his lack of communication.

If yours hasn’t moved yet, something might be up. I hope he gets back to you soon.

Good to know thanks! Hopefully the issues is just between the holidays and CYN. I’m going to give it a second and see what happens.

No prob, I’m sorry yours is delayed and I hope it arrives asap. It really is a stunning figure and you’ll love it when it arrives. The whole box set is incredible.

The cowl I bought through his website
I ended up buying the OT Customs Collar through his site. Seems he already had painted ones in stock so it took about 2 business days to get a shipment label by UPS. I'm guessing it'll be picked up next week then on it's way. Seems decent experience so far

Anyone has any plans to restore the black color of the cape around the neck?

It being heavily weathered around that area is clearly a QC issue and InArt is saying that because it's done by hand, it's not always going to come out the same way. The weathering should be limited to the bottom since it's what's being dragged around, makes no sense being on the neck.

The prototype didn't show any of that, I'm thinking of trying my luck by opening a claim through Kit for a replacement, but he hasn't responded to my claim about the lack of a magnet on the neck connector (it's been a week).

Still no better custom cape options available? Hate the stock but the OSK cape didn't feel worth the money.

imo stock cape is good enough if you know how to futz it, you can get it looking pretty damn close to what's on the movie.

but yeah, someone said that making a 100% accurate cape would cost around $80 - $90 and people usually don't pay that much (don't remember who, but it was on this thread).

Inart screwed up by painting the collar of the cape like it's weathered. Definitely not accurate and when it rained in film it would probably washed off. Also even the bottom isn't super heavy because it's not dragging on the ground since it's just about ends at his calfs.

My first standard edition I got months ago was perfect but the more recent one I got has the same issue you mentioned, the two figures are slightly different so Inart has made some changes throughout the batches. Didn’t bother me because I tore down both Inart Batman to do a custom /kitbashing. The custom cape from osk was worth the money btw

The cape weathering also bothered me. One thing great about hot toys is that it sticks to a darker contrast and colour black which I prefer overall. Been using the hot toys cape on it

If anyone's got tips to colour the cape black that'd be good

Was able to finally sell this figure to a seller who had their ordered canceled. Glad it’s going to someone who wanted it. I just didn’t like this figure at all. I have to say it’s inarts worst.
