Yeah. But for me HT is a known entity (plus Sideshow has payment plans - and I bet I get another coupon). I'm uneasy about the whole magnet attachment thing. It's not THAT big of deal, of course. Magnets can be re-magnetized.

Besides the hands or whatever, I want my figs to not topple over. No easy answers to that one re stands, unless I want to tie all my figs with fishing line.

Also, since I like costumes - Aragorn's Ranger costume to me was always pretty cool. I had vague pictures in my head from the books of what a Ranger might look like. The movie design IMO pretty well nailed what I might have thought a Ranger would have - rich good quality clothes, but had seen a lot of wear and damage. Practical for the woods. Am hoping InArt comes through.

Meantime I'll just do my own self payment plan stash as I don't know when this will be released, that way I don't have to cry about it.

I was trying to decide if I should upgrade from sculpted to rooted. I just closed on a new house not even two months ago, and I've always been a fan of sculpted to rooted hair on my figures, so I was dragging my feet on an upgrade. Oh well, easy choice now, lol. Also hope I won't regret it, I'm sure I won't.

I hope all of you who want this Aragorn get your chance. Just like @Wor-Gar said, this figure, if it ends up very close to the prototype as InArt Gandalf, will be crazy expensive. That one's already reached $1000 price point..

I just browsed eBay and found this version of Aragorn made by another company for sale $253 (used). By the time InArt Aragorn is out, I see the prices for those other figs will be even lower.
So if you want a version of this Aragorn cheaper (by other companies), just wait. Or even better, order this Aragorn, and then sell it when the price is high, and buy the cheaper Aragorn plus get some profit!

However, If InArt Aragorn does instantly shoot up to 1K on the secondary market, people selling off their Asmus and ACI figures can still price those pretty high because $400 for an inferior product is still more reasonable than spending a grand on a toy… to some.

If there are lots of people selling off their asmus Aragorn, then it might be cheaper. Just like what happened to asmus crown Gandalf.
Now it's just a mere $175. Almost half the price.
So the key is timing.
Even now the asmus Aragorn is not that high, $253, and maybe before the release of InArt Aragorn, will keep getting cheaper.
So it's a good time for those who want this version of Aragorn but cheaper.

I think the best way is just to preorder InArt Aragorn. Later when it's released, if you like it then keep it, if you can't pay the balance or prefer cheaper ones, you can always sell it, buy the cheaper ones, and get profit.

Still so crazy seeing all the ACI Aragorns on eBay. I actually joined this forum because of Asmus’s slim Aragorn I got since there weren’t any ACI on eBay at the time!

Someone legitimately offers a crazy amount for Aragorn I'd go for it, whoever is better off than I am. But I usually cut off used figs at 3-4 years, or even older sealed figs. Plastics age. I don't know how a fig was stored or shipped or what might have melted slightlly and got stuck to what. 3-4 years old is my personal limit. I know how I keep MY figs, but who knows with used.

Well, as you said previously:

I wanted a Ranger Aragorn, and any other version is being put up at stupid prices for new or used.

Then your main reason is supposed to be "I wanted a Ranger Aragorn, and any other version is already too old, plastic is aged."
However, if you stick to your original reason.. you don't have to worry.. I'm sure with InArt Aragorn's aftermarket price, you can sell it, buy asmus new or used Aragorn, and still have extra money left.
