I wonder if Inart took notice of these details. The stitching on the sides etc..

I kind of wish the cuts were baked into the figure, and an added torn shirt was included with a bandage for that look he had at the end of fellowship.

Maybe even an accessory pack for Two Towers with the red shirt, the torn coat etc..

On Inart's facebook page in the comments of the WF 2023 shanghai post there is a short video showing Justin speaking and in the background the head of Batman falls off then the whole figure crumbles.
Seems like Magnet is not yet perfect at all.
Here are 2 stills from the short video.

Yeah I ranted about it in the Batman thread. ******* ridiculous. Not trusting it to hold Aragorn. Might use some Star Wars base instead. Some Endor themed thing. But it's a shame because the base is nice. It just doesn't achieve its primary function.

They have the lacing up the sides of the jerkin and coat but the they have missed off the lacing down the inside sleeves and back of the coat...annoying. Even Sideshow, Asmus and ACI got that right.

Go point it out on their instagram and they’ll fix it

They also missed the metal collar at the top of the scabbard. I pointed it out to them

Aragorn? I consider him among the defining characters of the narrative.
I mean he is but to my only other figure from The Lord of the Rings is old Bilbo. Gandalf would go better with him. Aragorn is a great character but I’d need Legolas and Gimli to go with him and not sure I want to go that far on the line.

Hard to say when any company had missed something, or made the decision to not do a production step because it would add to the cost.

I'm more bothered by the coat length which was so helpfully pointed out on this forum. 😁
Not having enough length, or volume of material in 1/6, and googly eyes are two of my biggest peeves in 1/6.

Not sure how I feel about the magnet thing even after commenting I felt a bit dubious about it. To be fair, seems like a lot of companies go through a learning curve with magnets, mainly because whatever they pick is too weak.:thwak
On the other hand, if you are marketing yourself as THE thing, with a price to match, you had better have tested something that basic. Like the figure not toppling over. I tend to pick up diorama bases and use a lot of different stands, but I can see people being irate about a magnetized stand not working. ON THE OTHER HAND I can't imagine someone at InArt didn't see that, and isn't running around checking the magnets they are using. Hope.

I’m sure they’re using neodymium magnets. It’s just whether they’ve got enough magnetism. I used for a while when making knives that is incredibly strong

All great points with which I very much agree.

I’m actually going to use a cheap black oval crotchgrabber stand anyway, given my display space.

I’m kind of glad I don’t have to worry about it. I saw the video of Justin reviewing the figures at Queen Studios when one of the figures on display fell over simply due to gravity overcoming the magnetism and joint strength!
