This is the state of the art of 1/6 collectibles figures and the most accurate representation of Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn ever made. Beauty is in the eyes of the viewer, but I struggle to understand people's complaints at this point.

Seeing all these, I would love to see a nice 1/6 scale version of Viggo from A History of Violence or Eastern Promises. Two of the best films of the 2000s in my opinion. Surely those films have more fans than Lord of the Rings. Get on it, Inart.

I regretfully sold a painted Eastern Promises headsculpt years ago. Never got around to finishing the figure, tattoos and all.

Why do both versions look so different? i ordered the one with real hair only to be disappointed that the normal version looks better from the face? what a disappointment. i hope i am wrong when i hold the figure in my hands.

You have to style the hair, the sculpt is the same on both versions.

Yes, YMMV when it comes to the pros and cons of one approach over the other here, but from the beginning I've felt sculpted looks better on this guy.

I think you really need to flatten the hair against the face and style a few strands to hide some of the forehead.

Rooted needs styling. Whoever thought otherwise needs reality check. Im sure those of you who do, can easily sell and trade for sculpted. But then no crying after looking at properly futzed rooted sculpts.
