I wonder if this will be the most sold figure of the year which would be kinda insane given the price but collectors valueing quality above anything else it seems

Same here, but it feels like such a silly complaint given how good this turned out.

Like if it did would I be like "wow what an amazing rooted sculpt!" *covers with Giant hood*

As cool as this scene/look is, I'm not displaying the figure like this for sure.

My perspective is, if I'm going to pay $500 for the end-all, be-all, ultimate Aragorn figure, it needs to include all the accessories for all the looks of that character.

When hot toys throws out new spider man every week for 300$+ with a basic suit and bare minimum accessories, I think price is very much reasonable on this. (sculpted one) Personally I was expecting higher price.
(Preordered classic suit Holland week or two ago and I believe price was same, which is funny when you compare these two figures)

technically i believe its one of the rolled up bundles that goes on his back whether it can be unrolled and used is a different matter.

Ask them for it on their Facebook group, if they can add another staff for Gandalf from fan feedback then they can add this.

I can’t add any further praise to this thing than what’s already been said. It’s a monumental achievement by every metric of the hobby. This is the type of figure that will stand among many and steal all my gaze. Even his sharpening stone is an Individual accessory.
Also, if you go the text on the Standard version, he apparently doesn’t include a stand so it’s clear that IA just botched the text.
They do figures better than anyone and deciphering their poor literacy skills is the cost we must pay for such excellence- that plus the actual high cost of the figures…

I’m waiting for KG to list- who, as usual, are last. Gotta compare price with OSK as it’s usually cheaper to use KG for me and, if I get a premium and standard as I’m very tempted to do, I can potentially also save on shipping. None of that slow boat crap for my brother, my Captain, my King though. He’s flying EMS class, baby.

Kit must absolutely destroy KG in PO numbers though due to how aggravatingly slow they are, especially with these 3 day windows where people are already panicking only half way through day 1.

I think that’s all just his sleeping gear.
He wraps the ‘strider cloak’ around his torso when he isn’t wearing it so it’s not included at all from IA.

I’ll give them a day or two to enjoy the positive reaction and then start ******** on them for making short boots and not offering the cloak or LED Weathertop torch from the Nazgul encounter.

All right guys, I would like to get this Aragorn. I've already ordered InArt Gandalf through OSK last June, but since it isn't out yet I have no idea what to expect in terms of fees or other "surprises". I'm in Europe (Italy): has anybody in Europe already got something from Kit in the past? Does he declare low value and use OSS so that we won't be charged with absurd taxes?

You will have no bad surprises with OSK, even less in Europe.
All is include in the price (shipping and VAT)
I'm from France and i never had surprises with OSK, they are the best:
Fastest to send invoices, the fastest to send parcels, the best to protect the boxes with thick cardboard, Best customer service, and often we receive our order a week after sending.

I agree - at least in comparison to what you get these days for 250-300 dollars, this sculpted version is still a "steal" but it is also still an increase to your usual prices and things add up and addiction is also a thing no one should underestimate.

Anyway, glad to have the option for more high quality stuff in the hobby.

This is really exciting and seems to be the Aragorn figure I always wanted. Pretty bummed he doesn’t come with Anduril or a red shirt you can swap over though.

I've got a list of very obvious omissions from his outfit that I will be hounding them for once the dust settles... Things that other versions have included but missed off the InArt version.

No I don't think there are worries about the rooted hair. I bet many want another outfit of that fig I guess or another version to play around with. ^^

I think the description is messed up for that one. The only difference between the two is the rooted sculpt, the broken sword and the 2 hands.
