This will be a truly incredible figure if the final product looks like the images shown and I don't mind spending the money for the apparent quality. Just pre-ordered the premium. Now what do I do with my Asmus Aragorn? It's honestly not a bad figure at all but the InArt will likely be far superior and I don't really need two Aragorns.

We always throw around the term "man in a suit" when discussing helmeted characters.

This calls for the introduction of "man in a costume" as a phrase we need now.
There are figures released before InArt Aragorn and there gonna be figures released after InArt Aragorn. This is a golden standard, quality is groundbreaking, checking pictures in every 10 mins.

I’m really torn between which version. No matter, this is THE definition figure of this character. My hearting is saying premium but my gut is saying standard in fear that I may some how mess up the hair.

I would say go premium so you don't have any regrets down the line. Plenty of time to save up the extra money between now and release :)

technically i believe its one of the rolled up bundles that goes on his back :lol whether it can be unrolled and used is a different matter.
Ah, I see. I guess I've just exposed myself by my lack of LOTR knowledge ... but maybe the 'wartime quilt' is the same thing as the black cloak? The product info is no help. The pictures and text descriptions of the product don't match up. The deluxe mentions a quilt, grain bag, pipe, and a host of other things that aren't included in the standard, but the pictures of both sets are the same, the only visual difference is the hands and Narsil shards.

I guess I'll just have to buy it and hope for the best. Obviously, the cloak is not a deal-breaker, I was just surprised it wasn't included.

I got standard for the exact reason, I don't have any 1/6 with a rooted hair. It look amazing, but as a long term doll collector I can say that hair doesn't age well, especially if you touch it too much, also dust is a big enemy, you can't wash these.

This is my thinking. I’d definitely want to put him behind glass no matter what. I don’t think I’ll touch it too much but I’d be afraid to touch it at all with rooted hair.

Queen's statue line hasn't been too bad at all. Excluding the Black Widow, their 1/4 MCU line has been promising. And they're about to release their Selina Kyle, and the factory shots currently look great.

I'm pretty much going all in on Queen's recent MCU Silicone busts, and while they're not absolutely perfect, they're damn good. Though styling the hair where necessary, is definitely going to be a chore to get it right.
When I look at all those promo pics they always look stunning, but when the finished product comes out, they always look a bit too "fake". Maybe it's because of the lack of soft goods in most pieces. However I'm talking generally here. The JND stuff look very lifelike, and the QS ones as well. But they're well beyond my price range so I try to not look at them too much and get too jealous. That Prime 1 Paul was very tempting, but alas, there was no chance. The comic based ones tempt the most as they're the characters I want without any MCU twists, though what can you do.

Yeah but Gandalf, Saruman, Frodo.....how do you buy any LOTR figures at all if you don't represent those guys at minimum...
I'm not an uberfan, so if I bought any LotR figures it'd be more for how much of a classic it is. Therefore just one character would be enough for me, but if I could have my way, I'd go with Aragorn, Gandalf and a Sauron. Aragorn and Gandalf double as sort of pseudo Arthur and Merlyn, so it adds to their value for me.

Now, as for the figure... Wew! It'll be hard to go back to POing pleather MCU HT figures. No matter if I have a deeper connection to those characters, this is undoubtedly a knockout and raises the bar. I will skip this and hold off for a ROTK version, but I envy you lot. Now I'm even more anxious to see their DUNC Paul. These IA figures sure are special. Whether they'll turn to an assembly line model like HT in a few years remains to be seen, but let's enjoy it while it lasts.
