Yeah, good enough I shelled out for the rooted version even tho this isn't my favorite character, but figured if I was gonna get an Aragorn, might as well. Probably will help with articulation; there's any number of figs I have like Thor and Qui-Gon; Legolas and Faramir I think would have benefited from rooted hair (I have v1 and v2 of ASMUS Legolas).I went with TNSfigures. They are reliable... INART 1/6 Scale Lord of The Rings - Aragorn Premium Edition (Pre order deposit)
This guy looks pretty amazing but price was a bit painful. Still, the rooted hair looks so perfect.
It's funny because I did a reverse.I bought the standard edition for Aragorn and the deluxe edition for Jokor. I now know what it feels like to be apart of the hoi polloi & elite all at once.
I went from no way am I spending that much to saying it depends on how much to getting one of each. Crazy times.
And yet, to everyone outside of the hobby-It’s moving from a glorified toy to multimedia, articulated artwork
I’m selling off stuff that pales in comparison- unless it’s super unique or im super fond of it, it’s going into the super fund to subsidize the additions of InArt’s masterpieces. My grandfather used to go with the philosophy that he’d rather have one really nice suit than three lesser suits for a host of reasons. I’m liking that concept when you see this kind of effort from the company. It’s moving from a glorified toy to multimedia, articulated artwork
I appreciate that the insanely high quality of these causes other stuff to pale - and inspires me to make space. It’s kinda liberating. I’m turning into an action figure minimalist snob.
