Depends on why people collect and how they want their collection. Aragorn/Gimli/Legolas + Asmus figs are enough for me, re LOTR. Unless there's a big sale which rarely happens, and not from InArt.

Also Legolas is "cool" and is in the Hobbit films, and will probably show up in the Gollum film. Who doesn't like a badass, knife-wielding archer.

This is true. I'll probably wait until official news comes out to make a decision. Besides, Legolas is still a ways out so there is plenty of time to decide

There seems to be some general confusion and conflicting reports but I think the direct translation states that Sam and Frodo are the last planned, however GTW may be done in 2026.

They will do all 9 I think just not planned, which one is next and how to proceed. (After F&S and Gandalf the White, which are planned indeed) That is my interpretation at least

Hard to tell until it is sat on the body but the hair looks very short and overly frizzy to be honest.

Now InArt have seemingly announced they are not continuing the line, I want to get the premium Aragorn as a standalone representation, but ideally want the cloak.

Out of curiosity looking back at this thread, I see a lot of talk about first or second batch. Is there anyway to know what figure is a second batch or is it purely how it looks?

The section that isn't rooted is correct, but that sucks that it's not painted well so it really stands out.

Paint would be an easier fix. Are you confirming that all of your Aragorn's aren't rooted there?

Correct. They’re sculpted, but yours isn’t painted entirely unfortunately..

Paul Atreides also has a sculpted hairline blending into the rooted hair.

Dry brushing some brown with a fine brush? What type of paint should I be using?
