Looks really really good but I have a feeling that it may be too rich for me buying from the UK retailers, once all the VAT etc has been added on. Will wait and see what the price is first...might just pass on GTG and wait and see what their Aragorn looks like and get that instead as I’m quite happy with my Asmus Gandalf.
Don’t buy from UK retailers then :lecture

Looks great. But I’d rather put $500 towards a statue than a sixth scale figure. Just too expensive for me, for what it is.

No more 3 days window, preorder will be opened for one month
Awesome! Thanks. Good to know it’s not a mad rush to order. Still I will probably place mine the first day. I typically get my stuff from you unless I get it straight from the manufacturer.

Not sure if he changes bags along the way but the braided strap is wrong...

Anyway, here's a comparison...

Looking at a few references seems to show that the shoulder bag strap is also braided but a bit thinner. It’s hard to make out in a lot of cases but it does look to lean towards it in some cases. Might a case of there being two bags or straps.

OK, I thought maybe he had two bags... no which was in the movie?

Maybe that's his "visit with Frodo" bag... and the other is his simple travel bag?
Just looking at a few pics and looks like the braided one was in the movie.
Maybe the other is costume design phase?

And not to sound like a broken record on here but hope they change his hat colour to be more accurate

Still not totally sold on the likeness, but I'm really tempted to order anyway just for the insane level of detail throughout this figure. And also for the chance to actually display Gandalf with his iconic hat on.

I also like how Inart has the pleats going straight down in front like it should be. Asmus has theirs more at an angle for some reason, which annoys the hell out of me every time I look at that figure.

It'll be interesting to see how the final product compares to Viper's Gandalf the White limited run custom, keeping in mind it will be a mass produced piece this time, I really wonder how many people will pay $500 for Gandalf given he's not as popular as Heath's Joker, a low production run could be beneficial in this case.

Asmus’ GTG sold really well. I’m positive this will too. LOTR is pretty popular in China.
