OkCorrect, davejames is the only person I've seen make it look good. I got it in hand, still hated it and immediately sold it.
I will continue to hate it for the rest of my days.

Yeah, same with me. Noticed it straightaway. I can just about live with it, as long as they sort that beard out - as in make it longer! That off-centered name is killing me.
The name itself is actually on center with the overall width of the base, it's the black area that the name is on that's off center with the base. That off-centered name is killing me.
Ive seen LOTR & HOBBIT a million times. Was his cloak that brown colour? I thought it was grey. Here are two close up images of Gandalf, I'm surprised no one posted them yet. Beard needs to be longer but I can see the sculpt looks good. As long as they work on it and the final product is better we should be ok. View attachment 602985View attachment 602986

I was sure this would happen once we see inhand pics. The prototype shots all had that perfect dramatic lighting that makes it look more real and more interesting than any normal lighting pic could deliver. It will always be just a doll.I think the figure looks nice but still has a "doll" quality that I don't like.
That, and many folks have convinced themselves InArt/Queen will save them from whatever they don't like about Asmus, Hot Toys, etc. Even though they haven't delivered a single figure yet.I was sure this would happen once we see inhand pics. InArt marketing art is just good.
