Rooted hair is gonna come down to manufacturers having to "perfectly" pre-style it. I've seen more than a few Gandalf and Aragorns from InArt that look absolutely non-displayable out of the box.

Forcing you to become a hair stylist. While this is fine for a (imo) very small minority of collectors, I doubt the collective are interested in futzing to that degree.

Personally, I do not find hair styling nor futzing to be enjoyable in any way whatsoever. It's frustrating, it's time consuming and it makes you wonder why you paid the premium to put yourself through that, after purchase.

All 3 look incredible, but need some tweaks.

Ricks collar could lay a little more flat, and his body needs some work.

Daryl's shoulders appear a bit too broad, and like Rick, the legs look funny.

Negan just needs a better expression, I think everything else is phenomenal.

I want all 3, but with everything coming out, as well as my open POs and already overcrowded display, I think Ill have to limit myself to one. All 3 hold their own on display Id say, I'm likely going with Daryl. Him and Merle were always my favorites, and Daryl is arguably just as much of a protagonist as Rick is, just not as Iconic.

Damn they look great but Daryl and Negan stand out for sure. Rick could use some improvements to his shirt and weathering. They all look like custom pieces on display there though. The seamless hand to wrist with all the wrinkle detailing is nicely done. Might be tempted with this trio when preorders go live.

Interestingly I think Negan is the one that needs some work, likeness wise at least. I see JDM but Rick and Daryl are so scarily spot-on that the discrepancies with Negan are a lot more visible.

I think the blank stare expression they're giving him really doesn't match him at all. He needs his signature smirk. The likeness itself is good but the expression is not, throwing off the look of the character.

I have a few figures with rooted hair, including inart joker. My oldest in the collection is civil war black widow and scarlet witch that I’ve had since 2017 i think.
I ain’t done **** to the hair on any of them. It’s a waste of time IMO. I don’t do anything to my hair. Why would I do anything to my toys hair lol.

The smirk is a automatic turn off to me. Weird.

Some want the rooted hair scene accuracy. The entire point of avoiding sculpted hair.

Dig or don't. I personally ain't ever gonna be on the rooted hair bandwagon. Ever.

I imagine it's like soft goods for 1/12 scale figs. It requires a certain collector to garner interest.

I've always considered Mezco a slop job of trying to execute that point.

Because 9 times outta 10 it looks like ass out of the box.

Yes, InArt or any other company dealing in "high quality rooted hair" faces this issue. Limited availability does not change the fact these figures are pumped out like any other mass produced product.

I'm happy you're happy with yours.

So we won't see these this year they're meant for next year but cool to see it's gonna be global license.
Plenty of time for them to realise a sadistic, antagonistic smile is the only appropriate option for Negan.

Since it appears he won’t get a rooted option, two sculpts in a deluxe set would work for me.

No interest in these franchise but wow these are incredible. Hope they can apply such realism to Reeve's portrait assuming they're still going ahead with that figure.

There might be the slightest bit of McConaughey in Negan’s sculpt, but I dig the likeness enough.
I need this, I’ve been wanting a good Negan for some time but I wasn’t happy enough with any sculpts out there except maybe the elusive Mina Yu.
I have to say, SUPER inspired choice with this line. I remember hearing Rick, Negan, and Daryl and assumed they’d be the spinoff looks, happy they instead went straight to prime TWD.
