Interestingly I think Negan is the one that needs some work, likeness wise at least. I see JDM but Rick and Daryl are so scarily spot-on that the discrepancies with Negan are a lot more visible.Damn they look great but Daryl and Negan stand out for sure. Rick could use some improvements to his shirt and weathering. They all look like custom pieces on display there though. The seamless hand to wrist with all the wrinkle detailing is nicely done. Might be tempted with this trio when preorders go live.
I think the blank stare expression they're giving him really doesn't match him at all. He needs his signature smirk. The likeness itself is good but the expression is not, throwing off the look of the character.Interestingly I think Negan is the one that needs some work, likeness wise at least. I have a few figures with rooted hair, including inart joker. My oldest in the collection is civil war black widow and scarlet witch that I’ve had since 2017 i think.Rooted hair is gonna come down to manufacturers having to "perfectly" pre-style it. I've seen more than a few Gandalf and Aragorns from InArt that look absolutely non-displayable out of the box.
Forcing you to become a hair stylist. While this is fine for a (imo) very small minority of collectors, I doubt the collective are interested in futzing to that degree.
Personally, I do not find hair styling nor futzing to be enjoyable in any way whatsoever. It's frustrating, it's time consuming and it makes you wonder why you paid the premium to put yourself through that, after purchase.
The smirk is a automatic turn off to me. Weird.I think the blank stare expression they're giving him really doesn't match him at all. He needs his signature smirk. The likeness itself is good but the expression is not, throwing off the look of the character.
They sculpted this:
When he should look like this:
Some want the rooted hair scene accuracy. The entire point of avoiding sculpted hair.I have a few figures with rooted hair, including inart joker. My oldest in the collection is civil war black widow and scarlet witch that I’ve had since 2017 i think.
I ain’t done **** to the hair on any of them. It’s a waste of time IMO. I don’t do anything to my hair. Why would I do anything to my toys hair lol.
Because 9 times outta 10 it looks like ass out of the box.I have a few figures with rooted hair, including inart joker. My oldest in the collection is civil war black widow and scarlet witch that I’ve had since 2017 i think.

Plenty of time for them to realise a sadistic, antagonistic smile is the only appropriate option for Negan. So we won't see these this year they're meant for next year but cool to see it's gonna be global license.
