He was talking endings though, so it's totally valid.

It would be like saying that he thinks oranges are better than apples.

I like Fuji apples better than Gala apples.

I like the endings of Batman Begins for different reasons than I like the ending of Inception.

:lol

I thought I was the only headstrong Inception fan... :hi5:

Heck no sister! :hi5:

If you read through this thread, you'll see that I'm one of the most outspoken supporters of this movie! My feelings for it are almost religious!

Do we need two crazy people in this thread?

You and ________ ?

Edit: BUT I will say this. I love Inception for purely superficial reasons [Joseph Gordon-Levitt]. The story is not groundbreaking and not hard to decipher.

In my opinion, Inception is one of the few truly original ideas to come out of Hollywood in a while. Especially as a Sci-Fi story. The plot device (shared dreaming) is such a cool idea. But I agree that the plot itself is not hard to decipher.

However, my reasons for loving the film are completely different than most. As I said, I have almost religious feelings about it. I love the final moment/scene because to me it is about faith. Cobb's entire journey is about letting go of guilt and embracing faith.

We the viewer have the choice to exercise the same faith that Cobb does when he walks away from the top. He has total faith that it will fall, for the first time since the death of his wife. People that say the point is 'Cobb doesn't care' are missing what I feel makes the movie so special. Without that interpretation of the ending it's just a well crafted story that can be quickly forgotten.

I will not forget this film any time soon.

I love the movie too, but you guys need to calm down a little bit. Trying to kick people out of the thread over a different opinion, false acusations....it's not needed. It's what the Avatards did.
