Are you honestly gonna pretend that you guessed:

1. That Leonard's wife survived the attack
2. That Leonard was the one who actually killed his wife
3. That Leonard ALREADY killed the other guy responsible for his wife's attack over a year ago from the starting point of the movie
AND..
4. That he lies to himself and contributes to an "unsolvable mystery" to keep his sanity intact, BEFORE all that was revealed!?

And yeah no spoiler tags. Memento is old as hell, if you haven't seen it by now screw you.

Inception just got a best picture nomination! Congrats to Nolan and the team. I really hope they can bag the oscar but I doubt the Academy is ready to recognize the genius of this movie.

10 best picture nominations is also far too many IMO.

If 2008 had 10 nominations, TDK would surely have got one.

Inception just got a best picture nomination! Congrats to Nolan and the team. I really hope they can bag the oscar but I doubt the Academy is ready to recognize the genius of this movie.

Inception doesn't stand a chance not with the likes of some of those other films. Expect The King's Speech, The Social Network or 127 Hours to win.

Personally, I thought True Grit and Toy Story 3 were better films than Inception, but that's just me.

However, Inception deserves the Cinematography and visual effects awards. Fantastic job there.

I'm also was disappointed Nolan didn't get a Director nomination.

Personally I expect The King's Speech to win, maybe even The Black Swan.

127 hrs was good but not best picture good.

The Social Network is over hyped.

Need to see True Grit, looking fwd to it.

Loved Toy Story 3.

But Inception has been my fav this yr for sure.

I agree with you there, but I'd also argue that Inception was too. Thankfully, that hype didn't last it died down a month or two after the film was released.

Perhaps - it remains to be seen what longevity Inception has. For me personally i'm quite sure it'll always be in my top movies, it made a big impression on me.

But in general, who knows how it is viewed in 10 yrs time.

Yep. My feelings for this movie has nothing to do with hype. I don't give two rips what others think of it. To me it's deeply meaningful and it will always be one of my favorites.

The story in Inception is really very good. It has to be one of my Fav movie from 2010.
