I'm not bothered by the lack of environment or a major exclusive, but I guess the one shocker for me is seeing $90. as the new base price for a "basic" figure...not a lot of accessories, no cloth version of the hat (or alternate head portrait...but maybe the one that came with the first Indy will work).

Although he just seems pretty sparse as a figure for the price, I do like the outfit. Is he a web-only domestic exclusive or is there just nothing exclusive about him?

We'll just have to wait and see who's announced next...

R.I.P. Indy.

Too much $$$ for nothing.

caca.......................

An easy pass for me tonight, this should have just been released as an outfit kit so we could change our own indy clothes. Already the seeds of destruction being sown into the line with rehashed characters when core figures are needed.

Seeing as this is just a basic figure with pretty much no accessories the price feels unjustified. It should be the same price as Piett. Sadly, I have to agree with above comments - this is the end of 12" Indy products. I'll be getting this nevertheless, but I feel bitter that Sideshow has failed this line. It's LotR all over again.

$90 for that? Wow. For as excited as I was about ordering this one, sadly I'll be passing and perhaps pick it up cheaper down the road from an e-tailer. I have no issue with the character choice, only the price. For what you get and no exclusive, Sideshow overshot the price on this one by about $30, IMO.

People paying the price for previous figures without questions has set new limits at sideshow, they know that we will pay up.

they know that we will pay up.

Not this time. They priced this out of the market.

IF I get it at all -- and that's a big IF because I could make this myself for far less -- I'll get it easily on 2nd Chance with a $30 Gift Card.

Then again, I have that extra Indy head.... get a DAK cap, jacket, pants, boots and Y-harness and you're done. Get the 'little' bazooka when TA parts it out.

BTW -- it lists the hat, so it's not sculpted... but that means Indy without hat is gonna have a really weird head. Unless there is a separate cloth hat and second head and they just mis-listed this once again.

I ordered, but I'm probably not going to keep it. $90 is too much for this. Regular Indy was that price and he came with a ton of extras - including an extra head. This is pretty much a kit-bashed figure with the the left over head from the first figure. Nothing really impressive there. I was hoping for a nice exclusive like the Ark crate or something. Disapointing.

I'd be surprised if we see any more Indy figures. Henry Sr was a must but its not looking good for him.

I still think we will see one or two more figures because I assume they are in the research/development/prototype phase for at least one figure right now, maybe two and I don't know if they would scrap that time because of this figure but who knows. I am not ready to call this line quits yet.

Easy pass... could have sealed the deal with an environment or cool exclusive. But a basic figure, $90 and (I assume) a reused headsculpt all equal pass.

Brandt did say there were "two figures coming".... which ended up being true: Toht and this German Indy.

So that could very well be it.

Certainly SS can stop a line at any time it ceases to be profitable, like Indy is now I imagine. It must be very costly to have 3,000 figures made and then sit on them in the warehouse for months. Sometimes you just have to cut your loses (regardless of the spent R&D).

Uhm.............. is all i have to say to this. Seriously and did they really need to pose him in the same position in each pic. Come on Sideshow WOWZA!

ewwwwww....bad figure.....you guys should buy John Connor instead.

Seriously, if there ever was an example of how to seemingly kill a line on purpose... this is it. Man this license was kicked in the nuts from the get-go.

And, Shai... I ordered John Connor on the spot but will not order this ridiculous product.

I wonder WHY Sideshow did this? Seriously, why?

As has been said, the 1st Indy came with a ton for $90.

Toht regular was $90 but has a complicated outfit and extra HEAD!

And Belloq regular -- the closest to this offering -- was offered at $70.

So why $90 for this very simple "bash" Indy with a plastic bazooka?
