I agree its about $15 too high.
Exactly. Oh well, it's Indy right? And are we absolutely sure the hat doesn't come off?

This one sold though. Its sold out for now (yes I'm sure a SC deal will come up but it sold well enough) Faramir and The Hobbits killed the LOTR line? Really? I don't think so. Sorry but that one is totally incorrect. Plus you don't toss out every major character to start. You bounce between doing major ones fans want with ones that folks might get because they keep buying. If you just do all the major ones first when you run out of those and try to put out something minor folks I think are more than likely to pass.

I think they hit the Hobbits too early. And Faramir wasn't a bad character choice, but the paint threw people and made them question the future quality.
Sideshow just often jumps off to do weaker characters to give the line diversity too early. They should at least do 3 hard hitters that will give the line momentum before doing minor characters. And when they DO the minor characters, they should do one of them and then a major, and back to a minor. This way even if momentum slows, you will have it back with the next announcement. At least that IMO.
No picture has ever been shown with the hat removed--- In fact the sculpted picture showed the head and hat as one piece.
It's curious that they mention the cap as an accessory.
Maybe it comes with a cloth cap as well as the moulded one?

They did the same with the Stormtrooper helmet as well as the Utapau's.
I still like that this figure exists. The price is a bit more than I'd like but it will look great in my collection. For those that don't you can just skip it and forget this thread exists.
Josh maybe you'll get lucky and one day SSC will make Indiana Jones in Crimson Cobra Commander disguise.
It's a shame that this figure will probably be the parting release for ROTLA.
