Marion is in 2 films, she is the perfect Indy girl, and his wife. The Mother of his child.

If Marion is a longshot, I dont think they plan on making females whatsoever.

I'm not holding my breath for anyone other then Mutt, Henry Sr., and Variants of Indy at this point.

yup, i am normally an optimist but at this point i think you're mostly right. they might sneak in a mola ram or vogel in there but other than that it dosen't sound good. i think short round still has a shot because those hobbit bodies are going to waste right now.

Oh, no. They'll blame us collectors for our "lack of interest" when releases in the line stop selling due to poor character selection, questionable likenesses (like Belloq) or ridiculously irrational price hikes.

Yea and it is ^^^^^^^s like me who just feed the fuel because I will buy anything Indy SideShow puts out regardless of how unnecessary or unwanted it is. You can blame me.

I don't buy into that whole "blame those who bought it" deal. If you want it, buy it. Hell, so long as it's not a cheap kitbash with an unjustified price tag, I'll probably buy it too. I'm just disappointed that they label some of the most wanted characters as longshots.

i dont get whats so popular about german indy? i always thought that was lame.

Only problem with this choice is that it is just too easy to kitbash with all the ww2 stuff available in this scale...

I'm getting this one. But I do agree with everyone that the price is ridiculous for getting such a bare-bones figure!

And I've looked into kit bashing him, but it does take some effort to track everything down. I did some preliminary looking before they announced the figure, since I was really interested in making this one, and I really couldn't find the right pieces...

Plus I have a feeling the prices won't be that far off by the time you get all the right pieces.

That's what I found. I tried to source everything and not only was I not able to find everything (especially in one place) but with shipping and time and everything it worked out to about the same money.

Thats what I was thinking. With that being the case I'd rather just let SS do it and it will look nice plus save me some time.

When it comes to INDY, Sideshow just doesn't get it. Which is both surprising and disappointing.

I just don't get why they would make this figure before doing some of the other ones who would actually SELL. This is the same damn mistake they have made on damn near every single line that has died. They killed Highlander with the Origins figures and TV versions, they killed LOTR with Faramir and the Hobbits, they are killing Indy right now. I just don't get it.

Tip: DO THE BIG CHARACTERS FIRST!!!! :banghead:banghead:banghead

This one sold though. Its sold out for now (yes I'm sure a SC deal will come up but it sold well enough) Faramir and The Hobbits killed the LOTR line? Really? I don't think so. Sorry but that one is totally incorrect. Plus you don't toss out every major character to start. You bounce between doing major ones fans want with ones that folks might get because they keep buying. If you just do all the major ones first when you run out of those and try to put out something minor folks I think are more than likely to pass.

I think that's one of the more annoying things I was finding--that I had to go to so many different vendors to try and find all the pieces. I figured it would end up being pretty close when all was added together. Don't forget we also have to get an extra body, too.

I think Sideshow did a great job, but it really does feel like too much $ for basically just a new outfit and bazooka.
