Thanks. Lordscum.

I vividly remember a small black and white ad (in Starlog I think) to mail away for the 12-inch Indy and I remember for the time it was very expensive (like $12 maybe) and I couldn't get my Mom to get it for me. I had maybe seen the Toys McCoy Indy in passing in the last few years, but I didn't think it looked that good for the price, so I never investigated further. But then I saw a web ad for the Sideshow Indy, and I had to get it. And once I hit the Sideshow Toys website, then that was it. I was hooked!

I never really got into the 3 3/4 lines, but I would pick one up here and there if it was a good deal. But those never captivated me like the 1/6 scale has been able to.

$12 was alot to spend on a toy back then . I did eventually get the Kenner Indy with Box and its still not bad except for the hat. I'm considering selling it
though.
We've certainly come along way with SS Indy!

So aside from Star Wars and Indy what other lines do you collect?

German Indy and Grand Admiral Thrawn are going to end up as Christmas gits for me from my wife and my family.

Unfortunately, I'm trying to stick to only SW and Indy. I had the Joes on pre-order, but had to cancel one by one as I found I didn't have the funds at their shipping time. :(. I still have Storm Shadow on order but I'll probably have to cancel him as well. I had gotten Hot Toys Deunan Knute (just 'cos I thought she looked really cool--no other interest in the franchise), but she was a little disappointing and really stood apart from the rest of my figures. It made me realize though that at least for me, the figures look better when there's a cohesive focus, and that I enjoy them better if I have a real connection with the characters. I have a very short list of must-haves that are outside of SW and Indy, and I'm going to try sticking with that.

Glad you're getting German Indy! The deciding factor with me was the new headsculpt. I was going to kit-bash this version, but I'm glad Sideshow did the work for me!

And don't sell that vintage Indy! ;)

The SW and Indy Lines are pretty much it for me as well. I stopped collecting Medicom some time ago and sold off most of my collection. I have the Fetts and Yoda and am trying to sell off my Stormtrooper.

I have some Classic BSG 1:6 but I'm probably going to box those up save for the Cylons . I have some DC Direct stuff too but I'm probably going to get rid off those as well to frre up space and have some $$$ .

Got my 18 day notice! Yay! :banana

I'm one of the very few that is actually looking forward to this one!

I was too but....too much too fast again. Had to cancel. I hate this feast-or-famine shipping approach.

Ah well....post pictures and make me jealous everyone! :)

Got my notice today. Sorry to say that I will be letting this one go. Just to many other things shipping as well. And personally, I thought this was a poor choice for a figure when there are so many characters that should have came before it.

I don't know if this one is waitlisted or not but, if it is good luck to the one getting mine.

Yup.. I just got a BUNCH of sideshow hands form them this week... the GI Joe Stormshadow figure had some unique hand poses... plus I got some cool black gloved hands for my Dietrich...

Can you make a Dietrich from the German Indy?
