I'll reserve my judgment til I get the figure, but from what I see in these pics, he looks pretty much the same as in the previews of the proto so no surprises. And already I like the paint apps on his face better than the original Indy. The stubble looks good--not the wispy 3-4 brushstrokes we got with ROTLA Indy.

I like it. We all knew that the hat wasn't removable and that the rocket launcher was too small, so there should be no surprises there. And the fact that he didn't come with enough accessories to justify the price tag, but again, no surprises.

I like the outfit, other than the fact that the jacket should be green, not brown. And his face doesn't have as much obvious stubble as in the prototype. But the sculpt is there. And if this pro is much tighter than the other Indy figures to better hold poses, then I'll be happy. I don't customize my figures, so I don't have issues with owning this one.

This is the only Indy figure I've passed on...Just not that interested in this look. Now if it was Dietrich in his German uniform, or Indy in Map Room attire, those I would get.

Frankly I'm surprised SS didn't do a Map Room Indy...It seems like an easy, no-brainer to me. It's essentially the ROTLA Indy figure, without his jacket and hatted head, with a robe on. Throw in the staff with medallion and a map-room floor enviro and your set...here's hoping that one is still in the works.

Seriously, it's not hyperbole when I say that almost anyone can easily do this as a custom figure and it'll be cheaper and look a lot better than Sideshow's.

Yeah, the PFs have indeed been fantastic to this point.

Now, all we need are our TOD Indy & Mola Ram PFs and that particular line can be classified as a grand slam homerun. :rock

(Note: The first dio kicks ass as well!)

Hell yes TOD Indy and Mola Ram PF are definitely needed and I can be completely happy with that line. I also wouldn't mine a LC PF instead of a 1/6th but that isn't as important.

The first dio is amazing and I hope they continue that line for a bit longer doing what they can in that line with what they cannot or won't in the 1/6th line.

I like it overall and will have mone on Monday. I agree the head does look big in the pics but I usually reserve judgement until I have the piece in hand . I've learned that these things just don't photograph very well unless under specific conditions.

Its defiantly my goal to pretty much get every offering from ROTA and a select few from TOD and TLC.

Uh hey Carl please lmk what to use instead of that brown coat Indy has. Any suggestions?

I considered making a kitbash of this before they announced him, but I am pretty happy with what Sideshow came up with. Many have commented that a kit bash would end up costing close to Sideshow's price (which is $90--not $100! I know people are including shipping, but most everything is going to include shipping or tax!). But Sideshow has done the work for me and we get a new headsculpt to boot! Sure, it's a little pricey for a bare-bones figure (it should have been $80 which would be in line with Lando), and I do wish that they would have included a removable hat or a non-hatted head, and the bazooka is undersized, but I think it will look great on the shelf along with the rest of the line.

And I probably would have displayed him with the hat even if it was removable, just cos I like to show off as many accessories on my figures as possible, scene accurate or not.

Wow, what a fail.

Skinny body,giantik head,and a q-tip for a weapon.

Caca.

Yeah, really. And Sideshow (rightly) prides themselves on super-detailed and accurate weapons & accessories. But they went the Hasbro route this time. That helped make this figure (at $100) one of the easiest passes ever.

Sad thing though the Hasbro grenade launcher that came with their German Indy is more accurately to scale. I'll be using that one instead.

I'm hoping for all 4 Indy's from each of the 4 films in PF...Plus a PF Henry Sr. and a PF Mola Ram. That's all I need. And yes, so far the Indy PF line has been COMPLETE homeruns!

The first dio is amazing and I hope they continue that line for a bit longer doing what they can in that line with what they cannot or won't in the 1/6th line.

I would love a dio of the minecar chase from TOD, the airplane fight from ROTLA, the Well Of Souls (with the 4 tall statues), the tank chase/fight from TLC...and, well...I'm not sure from KOTCS. Maybe the warehouse chase?

I will say that I like the way they've done the stubble here as opposed to the slathered on beard of the first one. Hopefully they'll use the same technique for KOTCS Indy.
