Nah, I'm not going to go through all of that trouble for just a $12 figure. He's good enough as is for me.

The only other Hasbro figure I have is the 12" German Indy. Looking forward to comparing the two when the Sideshow German Indy arrives.

Looks like BBTS still hasn't gotten them in. I don't order from them anymore . The price of thier Star Wars hasbro figures are almost double
what you pay for retail or from Hasbro Toyshop.

Finally got mine and it's not too bad but it certainly has problems. I love the sculpt, it's definitely more Harrison than the first Indy we got. The resin molded flesh is exactly how the first sculpt should have been done. What bugs me about the new sculpt is the ears. They stick out so far that he looks like Alfred E. Newman! Secondly, the head is WAY too big for the Prometheus body. I sized him up with Lando and I'm convinced the problem is the Prometheus body. It's just too puny to support these heads and make them look bobble-headed. I'm sure he'll look great on a truetype body but we shouldn't have to pay another $40 or so to keep transplanting them to another body. Sideshow needs to go back to the drawing board and re-engineer the Pro body again to proportionately support the scale of their heads. The rubber boots are just terrible. Good thing I have a pair of leather DiD boots to replace them as well as some newline leather ammo pouches. The bazooka isn't nearly as short as the photos have looked but it's still not scaled correctly and definitely not screen accurate. Part of the problem is the oversized hands and head on that wimpy Pro body that give it the illusion of looking much smaller. So after transplanting him over to a narrow truetype, replace the boots and ammo pouches, and change the tunic to an accurately colored tropical DAK, I think he'll be salvageable. Not a total loss but definitely not $90 worth of value here. All it really needed to have was the extra hatless sculpt (molded flesh) included and this was probably Sideshow's biggest mistake with this figure. Hopefully they won't cut any corners on Henry Jones Sr.

Yeah, I just checked again this morning. I'm beginning to lose patience, but I know as soon as I buy it from someplace else, it'll come in stock. Maybe I'll just get him from AlterEgo and then save the credits for the KOTCS Indy.

Got mine from Alter Ego last night. Surprisingly nice figure but, I can't let it go, there is NO reason to not include a hatless head. There's barely a reason to include a hat.

Not a bad idea , but you may wind up finding yourself in the same situation with BBTS on KOTCS Indy though? I don't know why they are so slow getting SS stuff in and its really frustrating when other E-tailers have it and they don't.

I'd go with Alterego for your non Exclusive Indy and SW stuff and use BBTS for Hasbro , GG ect....

Interesting that the sculpt is different... I really thought it was just going to be a rehash of the first figure.

It definitely seems more life-like than the first figure, but the larger head looks odd on the Raiders body. Have to say I'm good with my decision to drop the 1/6 line and just keep the PF.

Hey guys, just a few shots of German Indy:

I'm still happy with my purchase. He looks great on the shelf with the rest of the Indy gang. I know this is an easy kitbash, but I'm glad I got him--it's nice to have a different head sculpt for every "look".

What a disappointment. Despite all it's own inaccuracies I love my Belloq way more than this figure. Go figure...

Ok, so here are some snaps of the Indy bash. Thoughts? I'm going to go ahead and post this in the Indy custom thread as well.

Flosi did it...

Edit: 1,000 posts! :banana :fireworks

Where did you wind up ordering it from?? I saw that BBTS has yet to get German Indy and Lando in stock.

I ended up ordering him from AlterEgo. I suppose I should have waited now that Henry Sr. is shipping so soon. Oh well, now I can get all of my purchases for the year wrapped up now.

Can't go wrong with Alterego! It is cool to get all your stuff out of the way before Holiday shopping . I'm waiting on the Shock Trooper but luckily thats my Christmas gift from my wife.

Hopefully I won't have to wait a month before I can add it to my collection while it sits hidden somwhere.

I am tempted to get Henry but I'm going to hold off for now.

Great figure!

The uniform is good too, not perfect, there should be Afrika Corp insignia around the right cuff. Still it looks amazing, I'm adding it to my "must buy" list.

Missed it then. I'm not really impressed with the 1:4 scale bean. The head's nearly as wide as the shoulders and makes the fedora look like a little kid's cowboy hat. Flos, swap them back! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SWAP THEM BACK! :lol

:lol
I've got three Indys, Nam. So it's not as if the original isn't still displayed in my collection (twice). TBO I really, really dig the way it looks in hand. I know my pics make Indy look a little bobble headed but in hand it looks great and makes for a nice change from the other two redundant sculpts (and three at one time was really overkill)... I've thought about some other options with this sculpt to improve the overall look even more. Perhaps a standard TT with a longer Dark Knight neck? I wish I could find a few more of those since the one I have is on my Han bash. :sick
