Q: I just started collecting both the Medicom RAHs and Sideshow 12-inch figures. What’s up next for the Real Action Heroes, as well as the rest of the “Indiana Jones” 12-inch line? Thanks for all of your amazing assortments. Flawless products (especially the RAH packaging; love the front photo shots), keep them coming!

A: We will certainly share your praise with Medicom, the company responsible for the wonderful RAH figures. At the time of this Q&A, we are not aware of what the future holds for Indiana Jones in RAH form, but we will ask Medicom.

My interpretation of the question was asking about RAH figures in general AND Sideshow's 12" Indy line. Notice how there's absolutely no mention of the Sideshow Indy line in the answer? Looks like they're back to those old, familiar games.

About as optimistic that they'll fix Firefly i.e. no chance in hell.

Oh I have seen his before. While it is a very nice collection that is something I have ZERO interest in having my collection look like.

From yesterday's Q & A:

I love the Indiana Jones line. Are there any plans to make a Marion Ravenwood or Sallah 1/6 figure to go with the Raiders Indy?

At this time, neither Marion nor Sallah are currently in development, but they are high on the list of candidates. We’ll have to see how 2010 treats Indy and his friends in 12-inch - we hope that there’s enough support to keep the line rolling, but we do see the fan base shrinking back a bit post the event of KOTCS.

Time to crack up the support...

First we get the line on pause announcement. Now we get this latest statement of potentially more 1:6 in 2010. I really am getting tired of the whole drama and mystery behind Sideshow's lines. Honestly, the whole things does little to keep me excited about buying product. Sideshow, if there is no support in 1:6 then cut the lifeline and be done with it. If you think there is room for a few more characters, then announce it and make them. Quit jerking collectors around.

Nail in the coffin of 1/6 line (unless/until movie 5)

This is definitely a big tease. I guess we will see how KOTCS Indy sells and that might tell us more. Or they are just lying through their teeth, keeping our hopes up a little longer until after KOTCS Indy comes out then BAM...dead.

They were pretty straight forward this time. Sounds like they are going to see how 12" Henry and KOTCS Indy fare. If they and the rest of their back stock (of the rest of the line) sell out, then maybe they'll consider doing more 12". Otherwise they're done.
