Re: TOD figures in 12" format?

"IF" would probably be SDCC but that's a big IF. You have a better chance of finding Sankara.

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

Doesn't sound like they're paused anymore.

They have "committed" to "developing" a mine cart environment for 1:6 scale figures. I notice that it doesn't say "producing" a mine cart environment, but they're committed to at least drawing a picture of what the eventual product could look like. . . haha.

It's so far past obvious at this point that polystone is far and away Sideshow's number one product. So far, the only thing they've "announced" is a mine cart environment, haven't even bothered with a TOD Indy or Short Round, but they're "committed" to a mine cart.

:slap

It's so ridiculously disconcerting that Sideshow starts these lines then gets distracted by all the possibilities of statues and busts and dioramas, when all people really want is figures.

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

I did think it was odd that belloq ex is back on the available list after being on the waitlist for a long while. I guess they found some in the back.

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

A Mine Cart Environment would almost surely mean TOD figures as well.

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

I would be more than willing to get a TOD Indy and Mola Raam in 1:6th. Then hopefully a LCS Indy so I can have all Indy in 1:6th.

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

Now that Sideshow are branching out into Temple Of Doom territory, can we expect to see a 1/6th TOD Indy soon? When things like PF’s and dioramas are announced, I always look for the 1/6th announcement. Since you have collaborated with Hot Toys with your armored figures, you could easily handle the visible articulation issue with the rope-bridge version by using one of their muscle bodies.

You’ll see a pause in the Indiana Jones 12-inch line after Henry Jones. Our development team is in the midst of evaluating TOD characters (including Indy) for production, including considerations like collaboration with Hot Toys for muscle bodies. It may take us some time to fully answer this question, but it is an active discussion.

In the meantime, we have some truly wonderful TOD Premium Format figures in development, and we’re eager to show you more. Stay tuned!

Just like they say...I think they are waiting on Hot Toys to help them out with their bodies...They'll kick it back up when they get the right body figured out...

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

Come on SS. The mine cart should be an exclusive combined with a figure. Shorty or TOD Indy.
This is a horse before the cart situation.
P.S. Marion before Willie please.

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

They might as well just turn the license over to Hot Toys like they did with T2 and POTA and we've all seen how much better the quality of the figures are as a result.

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

Honestly, if Sideshow can roll out a 1:6 TOD Indy, Mola Ram, Short Round, and TLC Indy without any of them sucking I'll be content with the line. Map Room Indy would be a nice bonus.

Other than Mola Ram (duh) and Short Round (because they can make more use of the Hobbit body) I think it's naive to expect any more of the supporting characters in 1:6 at this point. I'd love a Marion, Sallah, etc... but they prolly ain't gonna happen.

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

Wow, I am gone for a half a day and this. I am presently surprised that they are at least committing to SOMETHING. I am still not sure about the HT collaboration but this is great news. I will take a 1/6th mine cart.
