Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

I'm not sure why they are so against doing a Marion figure.

Part of the reason is probably that they don't like their female buck. They haven't made a 1/6 female figure in a long time and they've said for a long time that they won't even do the female joes and cobras until they get a new buck so that's probably part of it.

That makes sense. Funny thing is by the time they get around to making a new female body, they probably won't even have the Indy license anymore. :lol If that's part of the reason, I'd rather them not release Marion at all than release a poor quality product. They've had enough issues with their 1:6 pieces already.

That being said, the fact that Marion is not scheduled for ANY format is a disappointment. She'd look great in PF and I would have thought a dio would have at least been considered. So there is talk of Willie but no Marion at all? Really? It's no wonder fans are getting frustrated with the license. To me it speaks volumes as to where this license is headed if Indy's leading lady and a fan favorite is not being considered at all in any form.

I'm also even wondering if the dio line will even continue. Sideshow keeps putting off questions in the Q&As. I would have thought we'd seen a sneak of the next one by now.

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

New tallies:

Looks like the regular KOTCS Indy is up for second chance along with the ex. The regular's got about 30 left and the ex has about 100.

That doesn't bode well for the line. I was sure the regular KOTCS Indy would sell out. He only had 1250 pieces (compared to 7500 for ROTLA Indy). 30 is not bad though. I can't imagine he'll stick around too much longer. It's a great figure with loads of accessories--lots of bang for your buck.

German Indy's at 30 (down from 40 in March)

Toht Ex is at 50 (down from 70)

Belloq reg doesn't have the gauge thingy, but before he had around 10 in March, so they either found a huge stack in the warehouse, or it's just an oversight.

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

Update on quantities:

KOTCS Indy Ex: 90 (down from 100)
KOTCS Indy Reg: 30 (no change)
German Indy: 30 (no change)
Toht Ex: 50 (no change)
Belloq Reg is now on "Wait List" status

So the only ones with any change were KOTCS Indy Ex, which sold about 10 since last month, and Belloq Regular which went from maybe 10 to "wait list". They're all gift card eligible but overall it's been very low sales for the line. Still think KOTCS Indy is a great buy with everything he comes with and the high quality of the figure.

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

Yup he's one of my favorite figures. I would have loved to get the fridge too but I just couldn't afford that price point.

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

i hope we hear something definitive soon regarding this line and its "on pause" status. at the very least i want to try my hand at some more custom indys and its getting harder and harder to find sideshow rotla figures at a cheap price in the uk. a lc indy variant would be great once (and if) the tod wave has passed

Agreed, I would love a Temple of Doom Indy.

Re: Indy 12'' line on ''pause.''

Update on quantities:
KOTCS Indy Ex: 90 (no change)
KOTCS Indy Reg: 30 (no change)
German Indy: waitlisted! (from 30)
Toht Ex: 50 (no change)

And then there were 3. Funny, I really would not have thought German Indy would be the next to go. Maybe they sold off the last 30 to a retailer. I'm surprised there's no change in the KOTCS Indys, especially the regular which is such a relative bargain.

And yeah, Chalky. I wish we'd hear something about the "pause". But I'm not holding my breath. Too bad you're in the UK, cos ROTLA Indy is going for $48 here in the states through GoHastings. Although Big Bad Toy Store has him on clearance for $60. I think they ship internationally.

I still need to get KOTCS Indy Ex. Something weird happened with my order that I converted to flex and it ultimately got canceled. I need to grab this at some point but I think I will be better off getting in on the secondary market for hopefully cheaper.

Have you seen it on the secondary market? I don't think I've come across it yet. But I do see that Belloq and Toht Ex have popped up, so I suppose it's only a matter of time. I'm curious to see how much the fridge alone will go for.
