It's getting harder and harder to return things without a receipt around here. The fine folks at Target actually kick you in the crotch if you walk up to the return counter without a receipt.

But that skull is nice...

Wal-Mart seems to be pretty easy to return things at without a receipt, particularly if they're still sealed.

That's my plan: Buy these, then remove the DVD and take them to Wally and say "Uh, my significant other was supposed to get the Blu-ray" and then just pay the difference between the two. Voila! Gift set AND Blu-ray.

That sounds like it's worht a try. I don't usually go to Walmart (other side of town) but if they cooperate more than Target, it's worth a try.

So is the IM helm the same as the one available through the site (with no ES)?

In my area they now take you name and you get 3 "no receipt" returns per year?!? Kinda sucky... don't know if they are doing that everywhere, or if we're just lucky

Yes, there are only certain items that you can use your gift card with.

For me: No Blu-ray = No sale.

If they want people to make the switch they need to start offering more and at cheaper prices as well.
