Cool that these are 1/3 and articulated, but i dont need random supermodels in battle gear. They look nice though.

These look great. Wish they were 1/6 though.
I asked Infinity if they had any plans for 1/6 scale. They said that while they weren't working on 1/6 now, it could be a possibility later down the line.
Thing is is, I already have the 1/3 pre-ordered, and now I'm not sure if I should keep that PO. This figure is freaking huge and expensive! I'd very much prefer 1/6 as well.

I don't get the appeal, just looks like models cosplaying in battle gear, very unrealistic.
Pricy for something so random

Photo number 5 - check out the Mia M4 Breech! It's either blocked, or missing any bolt details (considering the ejection port cover is open). In addition, the mag release is also missing details!

Photo number 7 - They've clearly based the weapon details on an airsoft pistol - as they've included the CO2 gas charging inlet in the bottome of the mag! Not really required on a real steel magazine....

Photo number 8 - By far the worst "fail" in my opinion - I was hoping and praying that these figures wouldn't be upscaled Phicen / TBleague bodies - but check out the fingers on her hand - especially the left hand! It's the typical sausage effect you get when the armature is essentially a single "wire" surrounded by (presumably) TPU - It's almost impossible to pose those fingers anywhere near realistically, as there are no knuckle joints, just a straight wire....it looks **** - is what I'm trying to say - either she'll need gloves (like the others) or a moulded hand from a BJD....

I think it appeals to me because every time I see that soldier version, I think Jill Valentine. But yeah definitely pricey for what it is. I'm still undecided if I'll bother keeping my PO.
By the time it actually ends up in my home, I'll most likely have paid close to $2k for it. And for what really? :(

It says it's an HK416, and not the most accurate one at that.
One thing to keep in mind is that everything is still in the early development stage, so they have time to correct them.
They said the hands themselves were magnetic, which will make it easier to hold accessories. But the weird sausage fingers, yeah...not sure how those will turn out.

That escalated fast. From soldiers of all timelines to a half-naked dominatrix! lol
Wonder what her role is? Interrogations? I'd volunteer for that ****!

Looking at these now, I kind of wish that they had given that cyberpunk version Mia's head. The design has more creativity, I just don't like that sculpt.

I think the overall concept is great - people keep asking "who is it for" - it's for anyone who is interested in such characters. I mean, who is Batman for, or Superman, or Spiderman - it just depends on what you want to stare at in your display cabinet. Obviously, if the figure doesn't make sense to you, then you are not the target audience - nobody asks what is My Little Pony for, if it doesn't appeal - most assume it's for someone else....

My big concern is about the execution. I've seen so many of these seamless figures (albeit at 1/6 scale) where they recommend not to leave the figure in an "extreme" pose for very long - the question I always have, is what is classified as "extreme" - it seems they are suggesting that in storage - they should be returned to their neutral pose - basically straight up and down, as they arrive in the box - which is (maybe) fine for an 1/6 action figure - maybe....but for a 1/3 scale display piece - no way!

I'm also still unsure why they had to use a seamless body on the two fully loaded soilders - you can't see a shred of skin - so that's genuinely a feature that is redundant - and I don't expect most will be dressing or undressing these figures - to the point that seeing joints (like on a standard 1/6 or a BJD) would matter in the slightest.

Final point - I guess the guys talking about "sex dolls" are joking - I hope so, at least - if not, then consider that ANY female figure could be used / considered a "sex doll" - which is of course, absolute nonsense - from any perspective. I'm a red blooded male, I like sexy women - I'm not ashamed of that in the least - but I know what a 1/3 scale figure is, in relation to that sexual interest - to suggest taking that to a physical contact level - probably says more about the people suggesting it, then the design intent behind the figure.

In the end, Infinity Studio is doing something different - call it cheesy, call it sex baiting, call it what you want - but we have a company producing "high end, realistic" figures that are not tied to an I.P. - and they are giving themselves room to be creative according to their own direction - I think that is a step in the right direction, and I hope more of these companies follow suit - especially JND, Queen and Blitzway. Sexy sells, and I see no reason why they (the companies) should ignore that - could the pieces be more edgy - sure they could - but that needs time - and in the beginning, these companies have to know there is a market for anything not related to movie, video game, TV, or comic I.P's - I hope this is the start of a new direction for large scale figures / statues / dolls / whatever.....

Yeah those fingers are not great.

The body itself looks pretty plain like a tbleague body. No detail or skin texture.

I'm tempted to get these for the headsculpt only - I'd ditch the body, replace it with a BJD resin body, or maybe 3D print a custom "static" body - especially for the fully loaded figures - but that will be a pretty expensive project - where the only value items are the headsculpt and general loadout....need to think about it.

I would bother for something so random and its expensive as stated as a "fun project".
THe heads arent even removable I think, will look messy if cut.

You would bother? or wouldn't bother? - I'm guessing you wouldn't bother, based on the rest of the statement - yeah, I agree - when I speak the idea out loud - it seems like a stretch - just for a headsculpt.

That said, are you sure the headsculpt is fixed? Infinity have been quite strategic in the placement of neck coverings in the photos, so I'm guessing the headsculpts are seperate - and they're trying to hide the obvious neck seam. I also imagine that the bodies are being reused across the "range" of figures they plan - so I doubt they're producing the bodies and heads in one hit in the molding process - way to complex to do, especially when the paint apps between the head and body look to be at different levels.....but who knows, maybe I'm wrong - if you're right, then the whole project I had planned becomes even more ridiculous.
