Alot of hate towards alot of people and especially Sideshow. It's a
wonder he collects your stuff.

Will there be more nasty zombies in PF?

Wow. Why all the hate toward Pitu? He is not employed by Sideshow. He does what he does because he loves it. He's the definition of 'kid at heart'. And how on earth does Pitu have anything to do with the Patient Zero International Edition??

Anyway, I suppose many of you remember the issue with Dr. Doom a few years ago? When the edition size was upped after the fact, due to a mistake processing manual orders taken at Comic-Con? (and that was the EXCLUSIVE edition)

This time, instead of upping the edition size (which, by the way, has not hurt the secondary market value of the Exclusive Doom AT ALL), they made a new edition to appease their international distributors. Yes, THAT is why it was done, no matter what conspiracy theorists would like to believe... does anyone REALLY think it was done only for the MONEY?? In the grand scheme of Sideshow's yearly business, 125 extra Patient Zeros is a pretty minute amount of cash (and you have to remember that distributors don't even pay retail price for them). Think of it as another form of customer service and going the extra mile - only this time the customer is not a specific individual, but their very important global distribution partners. And that's all I've got to say about this :duff

Thanks for clearing the air on that, Dusty.

Is there any reason that the decision was made not to do a true variant for the international version?

Not privy to those decisions, but from what I've observed I'd assume it has something to do with production? Maybe the piece was too far into production to change something at the last minute? I really don't know though - perhaps if you submit it they would answer it in the Ask Sideshow answers some day? :duff

Sorry, I should have been more attentive to this thread. Expressing displeasure at a product is fine, but there's a certain level of civility that must be maintained.

And it is ridiculous to think this was done for the bucks rather than to allow their international dealers a chance to carry some of these items.

P!tu has been one of the nicest, funniest & friendliest Freak on this board. Keep doing what you're doing P!tu! Looking forward to your SDCC stuff! :rock

This comment was worth me breaking my 1000th post count for. P!tu is a great guy who has done tons for the Sideshow collectors community; I personally still thank him for helping deal with the Bronxbeast scammer.

I'd delete that but I don't even know what it means. real estate-ment?

I could continue the joke but probably be banned. :lol

p!tu rocks. I would be nothing but supportive if he actually was employed by SSC. A ton of us, myself included, would kill for the chance to be anything to SSC and p!tu obviously has the personality to be noticed. I could care less if they made 10,000 of these I love it but I am glad that there is no real difference in the IE version because now I don't have to hunt another. :lol

It isn't a put down. The poster is saying they want to put their name to that statement as well. Co-Sign the statement.

Just saw your video P!tu, and I agree with a lot of points you made. I do think the international edition should have been introduced to us a little differently though. We should have found out through SS and not from a collector.

Still, it sounds like this is something SS planned to do very late in the game, so bringing it to light might have been difficult on their part. The ES on these limited edition collectibles are supposed to be worldwide, and SS should stick with them when a # for an ES is decided upon...

However, I like the idea of helping other collectors attain a piece for their collection. If this was SS's motive here, than that is cool.

I know for a fact most people wouldn't have cared if the news of the International Edition had been included in the newsletter. I think a lot of people are worried that SS will continue setting an ES and then adding more later.

Kind of hard when we don't know all the facts. So I'll leave it at that. I personally still think SS is great and I hope they continue forever.

BTW, SS thanks for the amazing PZ PF...It really is a sight to behold!
