Hello Alex,

Do you know if we will see any of the previously teased ironman premium formats/maquettes like the mk 3 and mk7 at comicon?

No, none of those are expected to be at SDCC.

-Alex

Exact quote. Thank you Alex for being honest, gets me in the right mindset!

Thank God I have preorder the HT 1/4 Mk43 without waiting for this then :(
Not that the HT is sold out though, but I don't want to wait years for a 1/4 Iron Man on my shelf :D

I am starting to wonder if these are still coming out. It is totally crazy that these haven't even shown up in a proto type shoot yet. I wonder if they are waiting to do a MK 43 varient of the MK 42 sculpt before they put them up.

Hope not. I think the mk42 pose is terrible for ironman. Hunched over, hiding his iconic metallic chest piece...

They're probably still green lighted, but considering how poor the first two maquettes turned out it's better they take it extremely slow. Not that that would guarantee a better end product, but odds would be better. And let's be honest, the Iron Man armors Sideshow teased in 2015 from the first and second Iron Man films date back 5 - 7 years now and don't exactly need to be rushed into production. They missed the opportunity to strike while the iron was hot long ago, and really only showed those render images to try and quell the hype from other companies who started releasing competing Iron Man products in 1:4.

Take your time SS and find a decent factory.
It's about time you did an IM piece justice :D

They have a VERY decent factory that will have a **** load of practise with IM by the time these are ready to go, and I am not talking SSC IM statues. All they have to do is get them made at the Superman, GHulk and King Hulk factory. It is an elite group there

The realm of a clean metallic paint app should be prioritized :lecture but I'm guessing that's the AOU Hulkbuster clue.
