Good that you're back form work, but I don't you would've missed if you had to work. LSB have been notorious slow sellers and I don't think this will be any different.

Hey!

I usually do not collect Legendary Busts but I could not pass on Meg Mucklebones and Predator and I have a feeling that I might be getting this Iron Man....

Although I don't care about value per se, do you guys think that it wil go up in price in the future? The reason I'm asking is I might not get this bust until November or December but I don't want to pay $500 for it later on.

I thought Predator was going to go up a lot but you can still get the regular on SS site and the exclusive is going only for about $100 more......

What do you think? I hope they will have 8 payments or so for the flexpay

I think it has a good chance at being the next Dr. Doom, Galactus LSB. Those go for good money these days.

I sure they'll have at least 6 flex payment on this one if not more.

Busts rarely go up in value, most lose money. Although this one looks very nice (but no ex), it may retain some of the value. Emma frost ex bust is the only one i am aware of in recent history that went up in value ($100) for a while, but that retailed in the $200s & ex.

Dont buy bust with hoping of recouping your cost later on, buy it only because you want to keep them...forever.

regular sold for $350-$450 on evilbay, minus 10% fee, net is $300-$400, a whopping $100 profit max Not sure about the ex, probably add another $100 ?

Yeah the EX Big "G" sales for about $550-$600 or so, and that's when you can even catch them listed. That is one hard EX to run across these days.

lol you realize flexpay is no different than you putting some money aside right?

i am pretty sure i can get this for $315 shipped or even cheaper vs $350 + shipping from ss. It has no ex, so it doesnt matter where i get it from.

You find the best price right when a piece start shipping, that's when all the resellers will try to dump their leftover inventory at big discount. Those guys run a business, they never want to hold inventory and limit their cash flow. Once that wave goes away in a few weeks, price slowly start to go back up depends on the piece.

Of course the risk of this is if it becomes completely soldout before shipping (which doesnt happen as often but still do), then you are screwed.

An alternative safer option is to preorder with the 10% discount from a trusted reseller who is willin to work with you.

If there is an ex then you have no option - direct order from sideshow at full price, done.
