Hey guys, I'm new to this but would love to have at least one IM Maquette. So from the entire IM line of maquettes they teased a few months ago, Mark 42, IP, and Mark 2 are what's available for PO, yes?

I love the Mark 2 and I love the gantry base, but not together, so I'll pass on this. Might just wait for Mark III-- hoping that the price won't be absurd by the time it goes live, seeing the $50 difference between Mark 42's $430 with switch-out head and Mark 2's $480.

Hey Michael, good news for you then bro :hi5: It is a shame about the pose and base not going together so totally understand your reasons for passing...I'm sure the MKIII will be more your thing!!!! :rock

May just grab the 42, and jump off before these things start hitting 500.

:horror don't you dare jump off Carlos!!! :horror once your on buddy....there's no leaving!!! :lecture :lol

I think the Mark III may be more expensive than this...maybe $529.99 is my guess

I think your probably right :exactly: the MKIII and MKVII are probably the majority of Iron Man fans favourite armour so I wouldn't be surprised to see the MKIII and MKVII 1/4 scale maquettes reach the highs of the MKVI and War Machine predecessors at $499.99 :horror :thud:

Easier said than done right? :lol:lol

More than likely I will be passing on some Marvel stuff, except for movie stuff. But id be interested to see any Cap or Iron Man for Civil War :thud:

Man, those Civil War pieces wont be out for ages yet :lol You still have Avengers 2 to deal with not to mention all the other marvel movies still to come even before we've seen Captain America 3 :thud:

Remember, with new Marvel movies comes exceedingly tantalising and seductive statues to go with it!!! :lol :lol

Do you take cheque Sideshow?!!! :lol

Thanks Andy! I missed out on the Mark 42 preorder here, so no choice but to outsource though that would cost me a lot more. But I surely won't miss out on Mark III as I find it one of, if not THE, most iconic movie IM armor. I have also seen the digital mock-up of the Mark III maquette and I love the subtle but victorious pose over the Iron Monger base :)

Can't I just apply to work part time at SS? :lol

Yeah I am thinking Avengers 2 stuff, but I need a good widow. I like TWS one, but I just love the IM2 look too much :drool:drool

I mean what it's only Avengers 2 and Ant Man, then we get Civil War? :panic::panic:

But man some of these are super seductive. After seeing that teasing vid, I succumbed. Good thing I don't live near hookers :lol
How many quarter scale IM pieces do you plan on having in your collection bud?

Oh geez, that's a tough question. I saw that teaser and man, I have to say I love the 42, and III is going to be a must have for sure. I like Mark II, but I do enjoy some color, even though the metallic paint will be sick. I might be the odd man out, but I also liked Mark V, and Mark VII is pretty legit. I would like a War Machine, but I don't like Mk II, and one thing that bugs me about Iron Patriot, was that it has the rectangular arc opposed to a full star shaped one.

So in the end? hmmm maybe 4, 5 maybe max :lol

It'll also depend on what we get for Avengers and Civil War. I mean Hulkbuster will be insane :thud:

Oh, you're screwed too :lol Welcome to the club :hi5:

Did any one see what they added to the bottom of the proto pictures on the SS website?

It says "Final Product May Vary" In all caps.
