That's always there, it's a prototype.

Nope, only on this one. They normally only mention this in the description, not on every single picture. I checked other pre-orders, no mention of it.
When the put it up for order, the line might be removed but the images won't change i think.

A glorious dull grey with visible brush strokes and some scratches thrown in for good measure. Expect to pay another couple hundred for a custom chrome paintjob.

That is the first time i have ever seen them add that warning on the the Pic's. I wounder if we as collectors could put in a class action law suit for such crap quality. lol

Collectors are smarter now Yankee, well especially older collector. Doubt majority will PO straight away.

Smarter? Maybe, I'm not sure how you can gauge that. Imo collectors just have more options now with new companies offering IM products in the same scale.

One thing for certain, many local collector here have dropped PO with SS. They are all just waiting and see. Big part is due to XM

I'm actually coming round to this pose. It's different and will look good alongside my other IM maquettes. Can't wait to see the MkIII :)

Pose is great. For me, it represents an unstable TS experimenting with his new design.
Production version and height are my only concerns.

not just xm, if bw is any indication of quality for gg's marvel 1/4 lineup, i will be buying up a lot of them too, also few pieces of arh i like, and pretty much everything from pcs(except the master of universe stuff). So have to spend my funds wisely, the days of blindly ordering everything sideshow puts up is long gone. I just checked my preorder, my last one is the thor frogs, before that is in july for the hulk pf ex. That's it.

Still look at my starcraft marine statue from sideshow quite often - the first ever statue i bought and the reason i got into collecting. Cant help but feel sad in term of how far sideshow has fallen, not just at the product level but as a company. The marine was a piece of art, nowadays all we get is crap after crap from sideshow, on top of their games with edition size and reissues, also constantly trying to squeezes a few extra coins from their customer base with the price increases.

I might still pickup a few pieces off ebay once the price is cheap enough (got the stormtrooper pf for $230 this weekend), other than that i don't see myself ordering much anymore from them...just exhausted dealing with all the **** they give to their customers.
